Having moved up the ranks several steps, starting with the first Canon Digital Rebel and continuing through the 6D and the 6D Mk II, the 5D is in an entirely different class and far superior to any camera I have ever owned!

An honest review from a satisfied buyer

Moved up to Full Frame and loving it
With a lot of the photography I do I felt I needed a Full Frame Canon DSLR and when B&H had a hot price for 5D MKIV I couldn't pass it up. The full frame gives me more control over depth of field in the camera and better low light sensitivity. So far the Camera has been outstanding in the quality of the output and offers the versatility I've been looking for and I'm just beginning to learn what this body can do. So far learning the camera has been easy as many of the settings and the menu is similar to the 7D MKII I've been using. As a photo enthusiast I highly recommend this camera.

AWESOME!!
To be perfectly honest Ive only scratched the surface with what this camera is capable of doing. So far what I really appreciate is the low light capabilities. In short, now if I get a bad shot its most likely something I did wrong. Ive used it for high school basketball games with my 24-70 f2.8 lens. I know that doesnt sound like much maximum zoom but Im close to the court and with minimal cropping it works Where I REALLY love it is outdoors for landscapes

Exactly what I expected
I My first camera was the Rebel XT, next was the T3i, then the 7D. The 5D Mark IV is the ultimate camera for me. Delivery was fast (2 days) and it was well packaged. I am very happy with this purchase.

From night to day!
Let me start saying that this is not a deep review, but my preliminary thoughts as I didn't have the time to actually test the camera in many real work situations, yet. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR
I needed a second body while shooting and couldn't wait until the new R or Mark V came out so opted to get the 5D IV and couldn't be happier with the quality of the overall build. With a 30.4 Megapixel full-frame sensor, this camera produces excellent images for all types of photography. I highly recommend this DSLR.

Best Camera I Have
The Canon 5D Mark 4 is my best camera by far. Even of all my other Canon products I really like this camera best. For the price I paid you can't go wrong. Looking forward to years of wildlife photography with this product

Nice upgrade
My wife's pocket camera was acting up so she bought this camera to replace it. It is her first DSLR. She has laid claim to my 24-70 2.8 and my 70-200 2.8 lenses. So I love this camera because now I get to buy some new lenses for myself. And she can't complain when I buy the 1DX mk3 when it is released.

Awesome camera and lens!
Great camera and lens combination. Unbeatable picture quality, yet to explore all the functionality. Arrived with dust on the focusing screen, which is certainly an annoyance. Wish that, in addition to WiFi connectivity this camera had Bluetooth connectivity as well. Also, an app with the ability to use a smartphone as a remote would be nice. A remote sensor that is positioned in a way that one can use the remote from any direction would be nice.

Canon 5D Mark IV Wish I'd read the stats before!
I wish I'd read all the stats and specs before getting the camera! It's fantastic, and the learning curve, while challenging, is very rewarding! This has so many more features than my 5DIII! So glad, and the Payboo Card, saved me lots of money as well! Thanks, B&H!!!

Just got it, but seems excellent so far!
Nice lightweight construction with a comfortable grip and easily accessible buttons. Like anything new, I've got some things I need to get used to (on/off switch on the left side rather than the right) but so far it is pretty intuitively designed and has very nice burst speeds.

5D Mark IV
Works better then advertised and more. Needs a little time to set up with all the features the camera has. But once set up I feel like a professional taking pictures to are clear and crisp. Best camera ever.

I love it!
My husband has had a Canon 5D mark iv for a while now. I have wanted one too. The price was great, so I finally bought my own. It was a nice bonus to get the gear included. The bag is great quality. I actually really liked the cleaning kit and it came in a nice case. The rest of the stuff is great as well. I'm a happy customer.

Excellent Camera
I have owned each of the 4 versions of the EOS 5D, and each one have been an excellent camera body. I still own all but the first model, and have never yet had a problem with either of the bodies. I haven't had the Mark IV very long, and haven't been able to use it much yet, but have the greatest confidence in an outstanding workmanship that will last for years to come. I am enjoying the touch screen very much, especially for the menus. It makes things much quicker to change a setting. I highly recommend this camera.
