Quick-release clamp is the answer if you have problems with a regular knob - I always did for two reasons - due to me being a woman and having long nails and being right handed - I had two surgeries to my wrist and if I have to open/unlock something that need force its killing my wrist - not anymore. I just love that piece! Its so easy now.I like it so much I got second one for my second tripod.

Nice LR Quick-release Clamp
Very nicely designed and manufactured product. I used it to replace my Manfrotto proprietary designed clamp. This RRS clamp let me obtain a better balance of my equipment on my tripod by sliding the ARCA plate to the right position. It is pricey because it made in the USA, but I don't mind supporting good companies developing clever products than buying knock-off products from China.

Serious quality
Loved it as soon as I unpacked it. Sturdy, high quality, and easy to assemble, fits my 150-600 Tamron, feels very secure, yet will scratch easily. To my surprise at this high cost it did not come with a protection cover/carrying case. Disappointing to say the least. It's an expensive item and it should have a carrying case to protect it when it's off the tripod.

Half Baked Cake
The problem with this head is the Cradle Clamp is not geared so as to make balancing the camera/lens quick and easy. At this price, RRS could have designed in gears to move the Clamp back and forth. My "Nikon D810/Battery Pack/200mm F2 lens" would be much easier to balance is RRS would have done a complete job. I presume they prefer to spit it out at the end.

RRS Quick Release Clamp
This is my go to clamp for my tripod and mono pod. Fits on the 3/8 x16 stud. I mount a quick release adapter plate on my tripod heads, gimbal etc.. I can very easily inter change different components on my tripod or mono pod with this clamp and not have to thread them on. This works wonderfully when it is cold and your in a hurry to change your setup.

Well made
This product is well made and works with the 3rd party Swiss Arca place I have mounted on my camera. When you order this product make sure you order the model that is threaded if you want to use it with a standard tripod head. The only 2 negatives are that it is overpriced and it does not include a 1/4 20 bushing, which I expected for this price.

Big improvement overB2 AS II clamp
My BH-55 originally came with aB2 AS II clamp that wouldn't properly grip my StackShot and several other Arca Swiss compatible pieces of gear. The B2-LR-II works well on everything. I also like its calibration markings better. Overall, while I hated spending to fix the BH-55, this unit makes the head really usable.

Somebody is Making Money
Dont get me wrong it is a good but you can buy one of the other ones for a lot less money. I havent tried the other one yet but because of the different in price, it is something to look at. There is a small pin that holds the lever to clamp the plate and that looks like the weakest point of this product.

Top Notch
This thing is a work of art. Every part is expertly machined and its operation is silky. I do wish the parts could be interchanged for single pano mode without having to purchase an additional clamp and nodal slide like the Kirk system, and that is my only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.

Really Right Stuff
I purchased this clamp for my monopoly. It will allow me to connect and dis comment my camera easier and with more confidence in with the connection. I have several RRS products and as always it is of excellent quality. They may be a little more expensive, but well worth the extra cost.

Perfect
I purchased this along with an L bracket because I shot real estate. I have to shot a few portrait view shots on almost every job. It's so much better to have your camera sitting on top of the tripod vs hanging off to the side. Not to mention it's much easier to get the required angle.

Very Well Made
This clamp feels extremely well made. The action is very smooth, and the clamping force more than adequate. It's great not to have to mess with a knob to attach and release the camera. Certainly worth the extra cost compared to some of the other available clamps, in my opinion.

Have RRS lever release 60mm clamp on all tripods and monopod With the addition of RRS dovetail 40mm round plate fitted to each head, changing heads is a dream, and fast and secure If you only want to carry one tripod on a trip, this the only way to go (IMHO)

The best release I have ever used
I hesitated when i saw the cost but bought one to try out. Now I have 5 releases on and am able to swap configurations in seconds, no messing around with allen wrenches making it much more enjoyable getting ready for a shoot. Excellent product, very secure.

Rock solid clamp.
This clamp is finely made and is really solid. Along with the circular pads that work with it, I now have a quick change system for my tripod that makes swapping out ball heads, panarama rails and fluid heads quick and easy. A bit pricey, but great stuff.

Excellent
This is beautifully made and is a pleasure to use. Only trouble I've found is that some third party arca swiss plates are a tight fit. and sometimes a very tight fit, when trying to close the clamp lever fully. Pity there is not a way to adjust it. ??

Works Amazingly Well
Though it is very expensive, this head does work extremely well. I am very satisfied with my purchase. It is somewhat heavy and not my first pick if I really need to travel light. If you use large lenses or do multi-row panos, this is the perfect tool.

Really great gear
I bought this device to use along with the RRS Th-Dvtl-55 Dovetail Plate. Together they can be used to quickly change out my standard ball head (RRS) with my RRS Gimbal head. I shoot both scenics and wildlife and this gear makes that fast and handy.

Solid clamp
After missing several shots because I couldn't get the camera off my gimbal fast enough for a handheld shot I purchased a lever-release clamp from RRS. I wasn't sure if it'd be as solid but it works so well I bought another one for my ball head.

Quite Excellent
As with all RRS equipment, it is as good as it gets. I am using the RRS clamp with my Gitzo 5 series tripod to clamp my ARCA dovetails plates in order to allow for rapid switching between a CB gimbal and RRS ball head. It works like a charm!

High quality product
Really Right Stuff Pano-gimbal came in nice protective box. The build quality is excellent. All parts easily fit together and performed as advertised. The system is very sturdy and handles my FX DSLR and large lenses with no problem.

Really Right Tool
I ordered this Clamp to help me build an easier way to move my RRS-BH40 from my tripod to my monopod. I also purchased theTH-DVTL 40 to mount onto the ball head help make this work. As usual the RRS product is of the highest quality.

Overpriced
It just feels like it is cheaply made for the price. It doesn't have anti twist built in to it nor do I see where it could receive any anti twist mechanisms. It may not be compatible to my manfroto ballhead that I bought it for.

Great service, AGAIN
Very nice piece of equipment. B&H did a better job getting this to me, than the OEM themselves. For some reason, there always seems to be a problem with RRS and their shipping. Thanks again B&H for service beyond compare.
