Decent Binder for Price
The binders come packaged nicelyt with a flyer that describes their features in more detail. The picture is deceptively small, these fit Print File archival preservers for slides (2x2-20HB) and fits nicely. They clasp closed with a push in nub that presses into the back side of the photo of the binder. The spine holds the 3 ring binder clamps and opens up to lay flat. The only drawbacks are that they seem breakable. ... They appear to be made of ... Show More

Not as good as they used to be but still worthy of purchase
A couple years ago I bought the earlier version of these called WORKBOX by Print File. I was quite happy with them. As I continued to digitally scan up my slide collection, I needed more WORKBOXes to store the slides. But apparently they no longer existed and were replaced by these newer SAFE-T BINDERS. While similar they are not as good. They are thinner with smaller rings and therefore hold less pages. They are also shorter. So the standard Pri... Show More

B&H has me coming back for more
I am a photography student in college and this is the best place I have found for photo supplies. They always have everything I need, very decently priced, always great quality, and quick on shipping. I most recently ordered this binder for my negatives and I couldn't be happier with it. I was having a hard time keeping my negatives safe and protected in the binder I had already so I ordered this one! Its the perfect size for shoving in my backpa... Show More

I'll buy again, even without flat D rings
I bought this binder to store 35 mm negatives, and it serves that purpose just fine so far. I can't comment on the long term aspect of the product, but thus far it seals well and easily fits 7x5 sheets. Looks like it has ample room to hold 6x6 as well, but I haven't tried that yet. Complaints that there's no thumb tab at the end to open and close the rings are true, but without merit. Just put all the sheets in and go from there. Too much opening... Show More

Best value in archival photo storage
Some years back I invested in a large number of Print File WorkBox units to use for archival storage of slides and negatives. The WorkBox was over-sized for standard pages and incorporated 2 D-rings. Since the WorkBox is no longer available, I had to carefully compare specifications (and prices) to arrive at a suitable substitute to hold a large number of my remaining 35mm slide sheets of five rows of four each. This Safe-T Binder (in either blac... Show More

Ok storing box for what it does
I had purchased the PrintFile Work Box in the past and loved them. Now that PrintFile has purchased Vue-All, they discontinued it and are using this item. The construction is ok, but is not as good as the WorkBox. The binder rings are round and not D in style that makes each box hold a bit less. The closure clips are a bit too hard to open, but still secure. All this being said it is still an good product, just not great. Good product for storing hour prints and negatives when used in conjunction with the PrintFile sheaves.

Does the job, could be better with more careful detailing
Glad to have these as a storage solution - just have a few design complaints. I would happily have paid a little more for each binder to have: (a) an integrated way of inserting or mounting a label on the spine (b) another 1/8 or 1/4 width to that they'd more naturally accommodate the wider PrintFile pages (the ones holding six 35mm frames), and/or (c) D-rings. All of those together would make a really slam-dunk product, but obviously it's not a super competitive market in 2015, and the price is right.

Best deal around. Will buy again.
Repeat buyer. These are an excellent, safe and economic means to store prints, photos, negatives, slides, etc. Best price around and if you buy at least five, shipping is free. I have used another brand that looks the same but they are not. In fact, I had recently bought more of the other brand and returned them when I realized the difference. These from B&H are less expensive and better quality.

The best version of this product
There are only a handful of binder/box combinations out there, but this is easily the best one. The square edges let them stack easier and appear more uniform on a shelf than other brands with rounded edges. There's really not much to say other than that. If you try and put too much in there the binder rings will start to come apart, but any binder will do that.

Best protection for your negatives
Whether you are still shooting in film like I am, or looking for the best way to store family treasures, this is the ideal way to store negatives. This three ring binder holds negative storage sleeves for 35mm up to 8x10. The box is ridged enough to protect against damage and snaps closed tight enough to keep dust out.

Safe and clean
This binder is great for negative storage and is very durable. Sheet protectors can be a magnet for dirt and dust, but the fact that this seals all around completely prevents that problem. My only complaint may be that it's a little hard to open and snap shut, but I suppose that means it's doing its job.

safe-t binder
I found the Binder useful for my class, but it cannot hold too much. The rings were not as sturdy as I would have liked, and as a result my documents frequently fell out and I had to realign all of them and put them back in. It is very durable, and the locking mechanism I found helpful

Simply what you need it to be
Works great! It's easy to open and close, the binders inside are also easy to operate. It seems sturdy enough and does just what you need it to do -store and protect your negs. 4 stars only because the external clasps seem like they could break easily if too much force is applied.

Pretty good
+ Solid construction - Live hinges for spine and latches. (plastic bends) +/- No lever to open the rings; they need to be directly pulled open I feel like this is expensive enough I can expect real hinges, and not live hinges that are integrally molded to the rest of it

Solid affordable solution
I purchased 10 of these for storing pictures and other family records. sturdy and solid built plastic. I purchased clear protective sleeves, I guess upto 40 sheets without issue you store away from dust and accidental liquids. wish they had thicker ones for better price.

Works well
I ordered quiet a few of these and they seem well made. They are large enough for almost all of my photo pages and the one really large woudl still work. Overall I am quite happy with theses. The spines a flat and seem to take a label well. Time will tell on the labels.

Good Utility Binder
A good general everyday archival storage system where classy impressions aren't required. Down side is the 3 ring page binder isn't well secured. One binder I had to re-attach. Also I'm not certain if the plastic in the hinge area will hold up. Only time will tell.

Durable, safe keeping
I am using this product to keep 35mm film in, so far it has protected the film. I keep it in a book bag where it gets smashed with books and scratched with pencils and other things. But it has stood up well and is affordable. It also allows for easy organization.

Efficient Storage
I had all of my old slides and photos in ring binders. Unfortunately, dust and mold were attacking my images. These binders seem to do a good job of keeping out dust. It may not be possible to keep out the mold given the exposure my pictures have already had.

It holds negatives...
I've been using these for years and they do a great job at holding negative pages. I prefer closed boxes like these because they keep dust and other debris out, and keep the negatives clean and safe. Not much to say really. It does what it's supposed to do.

Great Binder
I'm in the process of scanning my old film negatives and slides After I place the negative strips and slides in their storage pages, I place them in this binder. I like how the binder completely encloses the storage pages, thus keeping the pages dust-free.

Is there a Nobel Prize for stationery? There ought to be!
Using this binder for negative and contact sheet storage and for that extra box of photo paper. It's sturdy, compact, and light. The ring action is solid and reliable, and so are the closure tabs. My first one, and I intend to buy more of this product.

I love these cases
Use to store negatives and slides. The case is very sturdy and the snap locks are very strong and secure. Close with an audible SNAP. Binders fit perfectly on a bookshelf and look great. Labels attach nicely to the end if you need that sort of thing.

Theyre Okay
Would be perfect but; - The plastic and closing mechanisms arent great quality. - Its actually a little to short in width for 6-frame sheets when you close it. Works but bends film up a little bit. Im still using them and they do the job though.
