The colour changing light in the handle makes temperature selection easy. It is well balanced and the large capacity water tank allows longer sessions of steam ironing. Since purchase it has mainly been used for vertical steaming of large curtains and did a great job. The jet steam and spray functions are great for removing more stubborn creases and the buttons are well placed. Veery happy wih this item.

My old iron blew the electric as the lead came loose. I decided to purchase this based on reviews. I am not disappointed! It got brought all of my two baskets of ironing including 4 king/double/single duvet covers within 1 and a half hours! I love that it's a rollerball socket into the iron wire so the lead won't come loose! Plus the fact you can set the temperature by colour modes and also the big iron head itself. Very easy and light to use with a good length lead

I was really supprised with this iron. You realy do get a lot for your money here. Great design helps when ironing shirts and other awkward garments. Great see through tank which holds a lot of water. And I really love the digital noises and colours when you plug in change temperatures. A great buy

Great steam iron for the price. It has a digital temp display and you click the temp button to the corresponding colour of the temperature you want. The steam works well on the top setting. The iron heats up quickly and gets through the ironing quickly. The lead is a good length and the iron isn't too heavy even when I've had a large bulk of ironing.

I bought this iron after my steam generator broke. I’m always used to steam generators as their performance is usually better than a straightforward iron. I was quite surprised with this iron as it gets creases out quite easily. There are different colours on the iron according to what power you need on your fabrics. I keep it on the red setting for most of my clothes but change it for delicates. Very pleased.

I had to renew our iron because the old one was over 20 years of age! This is a considerable improvement. Nothing is going to make ironing a pleasure but this certainly helps. The only niggles I have is that when it is on 'steam' it uses the water very fast and needs replenishing often. Also the way I grip the handle means that I sometimes alter the iron setting. This may just be me but I do find this quite irritating. Having said that it irons well and was very good value for money

I had bought an expensive iron which was awful so I decided to buy one based on customer reviews and this was the top rated iron. It was a lot cheaper than other irons but I decided to go for it based on the reviews. NOT disappointed at all - best iron I have had for a few years. Long cord, does not burn even when set at correct temperature which again is digital and soooo easy to use. I really can not recommend this iron enough - GO FOR IT !!

Wow what can I say .. I can iron anything from 30-70 items a day , I have used £200 irons and steam presses in the past however this beats them all by far. This iron has reduced my ironing time by half yes HALF, it has different colour options for different materials and heat settings and by the flick of a switch you can go back and forth from dry heat to constant steam. I have in fact purchased another one of these irons as a back up.

This iron replaced Russel Hobbs bought 10 yrs ago. The colour coded heat indicator not good in practice - difficult to remember which colour needed for right heat. This is not good for someone with memory loss! The handle too short and my hand interferes with iron cable exit. The iron cable is 150mm shorter than that of the old iron, which means I have to iron clothes in a different way in order not to pull the cable against the socket outlet. I imagine that is a cheap cost cutting exercise.

The iron doesn’t heat up at all so I’m not even able to use it.

I had previously purchased a Russell hobs iron and I was so disappointed with it that I couldn't use it any longer and after a few weeks I had to buy a replacement. Due to stock availability I couldn't get the Iron I was after and I reluctantly purchased this iron which was way under half the price of my last Iron. All I can say is WOW...... this has to be the best iron I have ever used and for the price I paid it is truly amazing. Far better than some of the more expensive ones out there.

Heats up really quickly, in about 40-45 seconds, steam function is excellent delivering plenty of steam so the iron glides on the cloth and does a fabulous job pressing it to a smooth and creaseless finish. Minimal effort needed to use it. Four heat settings, you normally do not need more than these on any conventional iron anyway. It beeps and shows a light at the top when it's switched on (non heat setting), a different coded light for each setting as well.

The iron irons very well. Like the colour and it is light weight. The only downside is you have to select “temp”!after turning on the iron as it will not heat up otherwise. Also to make it hotter you need to keep pressing until you get the right colour. Am not sure what temperature is pink. The colours indicate the temperature of the iron

I previously bought one for my mum which works great. Even after lots of use, the bottom plate hasn’t rusted unlike some other irons and the auto turn off feature gives you peace of mind. I have just bought myself one. Great iron.

The iron is fab, hence the overall rating, but my grandma who I purchased it for struggled to understand what heat was being represented by the different colours of light strip, as she could not easily distinguish the colours on the colour key which is placed either side of the coloured light strip. Possibly it needs to be brighter colours for those shown on the key but otherwise the product is faultless. Lightweight and easy to handle.

On my other iron it had a dial which you turned to the one,two etc dots and on the dial was written on what fabric you use at the different temperatures. With this iron it has the dots ,colours light up to show you what temperature you are at but not what fabric do you use at that temperature. So then you have to look at the instruction manual ! On the book it says 'Removes the guesswork' with the colour display, does it ! Couldn't the fabric info be placed on the iron to remove the guesswork ?

This iron is very efficient and delivers plenty of steam. I only marked it down for design. I found that I caught my wrist where the flex joins the iron below the handle. I also caught the temperature guage a few times during use and changed the temperature setting when I didn't mean to. I may well get more used to it.

Brilliant iron, especially for the price as I purchased in the sale. Far better than my old one and it’s touch button technology to heat it up so no guess work with a dial. I’d say it makes ironing a joy but that’s pushing it to be honest !

Very smart looking, and a good-sized water tank, but the controls are a bit gimmicky, pressing a button until you get a row of different coloured lights that correspond to the setting you want. Also a tendency to build up static while using, so some fabrics cling to the sole plate when you lift up the iron. Sadly not as good as it looks.
