Whomever came up with this design is a genius. This iron is a dream to use.! The colour control makes ironing enjoyable ( i really found it a bore previously). The box comes with the colour settings on the side and clearly labelled on the iron too making it very simple and self explanatory to use. This iron glides over clothing well. I have had it now a couple of weeks and can say it's a great purchase and has cut ironing time by over half.

We have owned this same model of Russell Hobbs for the last three years. We live in a hard water area of the South East. The iron gave reliable, efficient service throughout. The heating element was in good condition when control of the steam release failed. Even with this fault the iron was still usable and that is why we chose the identical iron as replacement.

This iron has a great long lead its a good weight and the plate slides lovely it does a very good job, i have only a small complaint colours are similar in the heat range would be easier if they were different especially as older people and new to ironing could easily mix it up and use too hot a setting

Lightweight iron, good cord length, good sole plate . Very annoying having to press the button to adjust it at the different temperatures , there is no dial to select the temperature for the Garment you are about to iron. Water fill chamber is small. The speed of the iron on steam for cotton is excellent and I can iron creases out very quickly. And get through loads of ironing in little time. Overall good price shame about the design.

Our previous iron decided to fall apart after several years of use, so a new one was needed. This was the one that we chose and we are glad we had. The cord is plenty long enough during use, some can be too short, but this one is fine. We like the coloured lights which match the heat setting required, so a quick glance at the light tells you, rather the fiddling with a control dial which is always under the handle, so not as easy to access. Good idea. Smooth plate and efficient steaming too.

I had to buy an iron after my old one broke and after reading the reviews of this iron I decided to buy one,so glad i did,absolutely fantastic iron and not too expensive either,i like the auto temperature its also easy to set and when it reaches the chosen heat it stays and there is no need to wait for the light to go off every few minutes like my old (more expensive) iron. Iron glides over clothes when ironing. Very pleased with this and would HIGHLY recommend it to others too 10/10!!!

This is the to be honest the first brand new iron I've purchased, and I couldn't recommend the product enough. For the price it is on par with more expensive brand's There are various s lights for each programme that light up the middle strip by the handle and intensify when at required temperature, another great feature is the iron beeps when at temp and also beeps after 5 mins off inactivity for safety precautions, and switches off.

Best thing is the light display love it love it love it and people have complained about cord being in the way but to be honest this is not an issue I imagine those few with this issue have very small hands. One reviewer also stated this was a heavy iron, its definitely not its feather light as irons go the grip is fabulous the steam settings are great and for the price it's more than worth it. Ironing is a breeze I was more than pleasantly surprised. Well done Russell Hobbs!

A good iron with easy to use colour coded steam settings for crease free ironing. I am staying at my mums at the moment and bought the iron for us both to use. My mum is a pensioner and finds the iron quite heavy and cumbersome to use, but I find the iron easy to handle. I am particularly pleased with the steam settings, because they enable crease free results regardless of the material. The only downside for me is that I will be doing all the ironing!

Have only used the iron 4 times (so it's still early days), but so far, so great. Pros: Excellent price, easy to use (colour-coding system for temperature is great once I figured it out), and steaming function has worked a treat. Have tested it on a wide variety of clothing/fabrics (including delicates like silk, denim clothing, etc.), and it's done great across the board. All in all, 5/5 product. At this point, would recommend to others to definitely buy.

The iron is very good lightweight easy to use heats up very quickly you set the temperature by colour that way you can't burn the plate and if you leave the iron facing down it turns off within 8 seconds and if you leave the iron in the upright position it will turn off after 30 seconds it's a well designed iron very pleased with it

This iron is very good value. It's easy to use with a very convenient long lead. I need it to iron silk mostly and it is perfect. Its colour coded temperature guage is very useful and I like its safety features such as turning off if not used for a while. I would certainly recommend it, I have not been dissapointed, it does the job perfectly.

I bought this iron about a month ago because the iron I was using was to say the least useless it didn’t deal with creases This iron is sturdy but not particularly heavy. The water tank is a decent size so you’re not constantly refilling I recommend this iron for the fact that I actually seem to speed through both my and my daughters ironing pile really quickly!

Great purchase! I did my homework to find out the different brand ratings and this popped up. It is especially good at removing creases from sheets and Duvet covers. It comes with easy instructions, its light and has an automatic turn off for safety and comes with a reasonable price tag - a very happy customer.

I bought this iron on a whim once my iPod one randomly stopped working and I had school uniforms to get ready. For the price I am amazed at how great this iron is. It doesn’t have the traditional turn dial but a colour coded button display which I actually find a lot easier to use and control. I love the steam function to.

I needed a new iron read several reviews and chose this one. it is nice and lightweight and i thought the button idea was a change from the traditional dial for temperature control. so far it is great , as the iron heats to a more accurate heat for each different fabric. making it easier to iron at lower or higher temperatures. It has a good length of cord and glides nicely, have not used the steam option yet found i did not need it but will use it on linen.

I am really impressed with my new iron, it is comfortable to hold and not too heavy but still gives great performance. I love the digital temperature display and the fact the water chamber is visible as my previous iron was too dark in colour. The built in anti scale is a good feature and although I’ve not used it yet the self clean seems easy. Amazing value for money would definitely recommend.
