The The Bose 700 were rated #1 noise cancelling headphones for 2019 by NYT Wirecutter but $400!!! The Quietcomfort 35 II are just as good, and for just about half the price. My advice is to get these and upgrade in two years if you want to. Else, for plane travel and for finding some quiet personal space, these headphones are a true luxury at a more reasonable sticker price. Bose is already flawless, save $200 and go for these.

I was initially thinking of returning this headset as it felt very uncomfortable and caused headaches. But after about a couple of weeks I absolutely loved it. It takes a bit for the rather tight fit to get looser but once it does it provides incomparable sound proofing and comfort. I love it and wear it up to 8h a day now.

I use it mostly for airplane travels. It's a very good quality headset for cancelling low frequency airplane engine noise. Audio quality is nothing short of Bose high fidelity standard. The headset is comfortable to wear, but my ears do get a little warm/hot after wearing it for hours. Every now and then, I have to remove it to let my ears cool down a bit. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

Love these cans, used on long haul flights and day to day commuting. Noise attenuation amazing but can leave you feeling almost like you've been to a loud concert as it's constantly playing noise in your eyes to counteract the external noise. Looks are simple and understated and build quality seems as you'd expect of BOSE. Do like the ability to link to my Google Assistant and use these cans for calls with the built in Mic feature - handy.

This particular set of headphones has probably the best reviews for noise cancellation and for good reason. I have tested them before at quite a lot or retailers in the showcase. Sometime late in 2018, they have apparently had a new firmware upgrade and this has messed up the noise cancellation feature. The noise cancellation feature for which these headphones were known for is actually now its worst feature.

THE GOOD Sound quality is very good. The automated verbal instructions were annoying to me so switched her off in the app. Charges really quickly. The noise cancellation options are superb. The design is also very good. Flexible handling. Connects to my devices really quickly with minimal fuss. Can reach loud levels which is great. THE BAD Doesn't seem to be able to block out sound leak. If on a train journey- everyone on the carriage can hear exactly what you're listening to - clearly.

Used to be the best noise cancelling headphones but just been beaten by Sonys new noise cancelling headphones with far better noise cancelling and at the same price! Only thing Bose is better at is phone calls as this is where sonys quality is lacking but let’s face it, no one buys these type of headphones for phone calls. . Other than that, Sony wins even in the comfort part. So I returned these QC35 headphones and bought the new Sony ones also from Argos.

The good news: The Bose QC 35 II are the best headphones money can buy. In terms of true high fidelity sound, superb noise canceling, wearing comfort, and build quality nothing comes even close. The bad news: These are apparently the last great headphones in production at Bose. That is why I bought them. The next generation Bose 700, like Star Trek The Next Generation are awful. In the next generation form factor Bose tries to please Beats fans by pushing the bass, and please Sony fans by going full touchy-feely with no more buttons. I say get the last real Bose headphones made for Bose fans while you can. Once you reach the top, everything else is down there. Look no further... ... More

Definitely worth purchasing.

These are very comfortable and the Bluetooth technology works pretty well. The sound quality isn't quite as good as some of my higher end wired headphones, but that's to be expected from a wireless headphone with noise cancelling. This is one of my better purchases, I'd recommend them.

I haven't used the features to use the Google assistant, but will try it later...right now I just enjoy the sonic qualities of this excellent headphones!

These are a luxury in every sense of the word. Very expensive and probably not worth the premium price unless you're a music professional but I've reached a point in life where I can afford as little excess now and again! Can't fault them so far. Given the option I'd rather have had a neutral or English accent from the assistant, but you don't hear it very often so it doesn't diminish the pleasure. Great case, nothing flashy or ostentatious, just do the job seriously well.
