My solution to lazy.
I shoot primarily sports events... It's high school and football season. On the grid iron I shoot with my 300 but in the gym I like to grab my standards shots with a 70-200 before trying to be awesome with a 300 indoors. I hateed screwing on and in screwing my lenses from the monopod, thus the bracket adapter. Problem solved. Easy on and easy off.

easy to attach, very handy
I have always had an old, inexpensive tripod. Since I upgraded, I decided that I might as well spend the little extra money for this too! It is great, so easy to get my camera on and off my tripod. Don't have to stand there and twist it around in circles! Also has a ring on the bottom to attach my Black Rapid Strap with out removing the plate.

Works just as it should!
Though a bit expensive, it works well, and is well designed. I like the locking system, which prevents you from accidentally unlocking it by catching on the handle. I use it with my PD-150 and my glidecam, and it works wonderful. Now I don't have to rebalance the glidecam each time I want to take the camera off for a handheld or tripod shot.

I wish the bottom was flat
I got this to use for my Glidecam. I knew before I ordered it that I would need a spacer, but I wasn't ready to replace my other tripod heads with something else that was Black Rapid sling strap compatible, so I got this, and picked up a nylon spacer at Home Depot. It works pretty well so far to quickly snap my DSLR on and off the Glidecam.

Great quick release
I bought this along with a Manfrotto tripod and ball head. The combination is great for my Nikon D70S and 55-200 zoom. I've used tripod quick releases before, but this one is the best by far. Easy on, easy off. It's very secure once engaged. I like the lock to insure against accidental release. I would buy one of these again in a heartbeat.

I adore these things
I've lost count of how many I've bought to build special mounts an to adapt other tripods. Everything I own but the GoPro has 200 PL mounting plates, and I have an adapter for the GoPro. Some installations do require a spacer underneath to allow clearance for the little brass gizmo protruding underneath, and maybe a longer mounting screw.

Quick - Quick Release Adapter!
This adapter has a great quick release system. It is so easy to use. As a wedding photographer I must be able to quickly put on and take off the camera from the tripod. With this adapter it makes it a piece of cake! Well done once again Manfrotto! I would not use any other products but Manfrotto! I have been pleased over and over again!

Quick Release Adapter OK
For my line of work, I bought this device for use with the Glidecam. The problem is when you attach it to the faceplate of the Glidecam, it is not flush, you would have to drill a hole on the glidecam faceplate to make it flush. Other than that it serves its purpose. I wish Manfrotto can make it flush when laying the device on a table.

Perfect for quick changing
The only problem with this quick release is that one is not enough. As soon as you put it on your tripod, you're going to want another to put on your slider or RS-7. This is one of the best products Manfrotto makes and that's saying something. I especially like the safety lock that ensures I won't accidentally unlatch the release.

PERFECT for my project
I'm creating a friction follow focus and decided after quite a bit of research to base my build of one particular DIY video that uses a roller-blade wheel. They recommended this QR and after comparing price and build with a few others I was sold on it. I'm definitely not disappointed it works perfect and has a very sturdy build.

Works
Works as expected. But!... Where the latch is, underneath is not level with the rest of it. So if your trying to mount this to something with a big 'base', then this is going to add a tilt to it. I'm sure in most situations this wont be a problem and if it were, just try to find a spacer to slid underneath to keep things level.

A must for the modifier or DIYer
If you are modifying an existing mount (e.g., a focusing rail) or making a new mount (e.g. a macro bracket), this quality Manfrotto product is just the ticket. Quick Release Heaven!
After years of dreaming about it, I finally have compatible quick release plates on All my gear: two camcorders, two still cams, car window mount, tripod and Manfrotto articulated arm kayak mount. Every camera can move instantly and securely to any mount device. These adapters are an inexpensive way to accomplish all this.

Very good product, but...
This quick release adapter is all metal and made VERY well, although it does not work on a Glidecam. The bottom of the adapter is not completely flat, the safety latch as well as a bolt protrudes appox. 1/8 below the bottom. Do not buy this if you want to use for a Glidecam or something with a large flat mounting plate.

Great addition to your bag..
I found an Manfrotto 7322YB M Y Tripod (At ... as an opened item) thinking that I would be able to get a decent ball head with a quick release. I learned later that a replacement ball head was not an option. Thanks to B&H, this little quick release was the life savor I needed. Easy to use and quite durable. A must have.

Solid, inexpensive convenience for me!
In my workflow, I'm all RC2 all of the time. The convenience of being able to use this adapter on select 3/8 and 1/4 components in my kit has been a real timesaver that lets me swap cameras in an instant. In typical Manfrotto fashion, the 323 RC2 is rugged and can be used with confidence. I expect to buy more of these!

Great improvement over the previous one
An improvement over the adapter that came with my tripod as it has three positions instead of two. Also the release snaps back and stays open until the camera is in place when it clicks into the lock position automatically. Big improvement there. Actually kind of glad I broke the old one or I wouldn't have this one.

Works great if it fits your application!
Used this adapter to add quick release to my old (1970s) Novoflex focusing rail, thus permitting quick attachment and removal from my Manfrotto Ballhead equipped tripod. It fit and works perfectly, but beware of a maximum of 1 inch clearance for the quick release assembly which extends below the mounting plate.

Perfect adaptor for my needs
I shoot video fro weddings and other events. I need to be able to quickly move from tripod, to Ronin S to hand held, and this adaptor allows me to do just that. I feel confident in the connection, and it is easy to connect or disconnect. I would recommend this adaptor to anyone who needs to make quick changes.

Very convenient
We bought this to attach to my husbands chest tripod. We already owned one on our Manfrotto full size tripod and found it to be very convenient. We just attach the plate to our camera and move it easily from place to place without any problem. Now with the extra plate, we can both use either tripod easily.

Great Quick Release!
I am using this product to adapt my Fat Gecko mount into a quick release so that I can quickly remove the camera from the mount o take pictures, and then replace it when it's tie to shoot rolling video. This product is super easy to use, locks positively, and is a great value! I couldn't be happier.

no frills
I use this on a Manfrotto ball head. When the camera is mounted, there is very little slop in the connection, and you can lock the lever in the closed position so there is no way to accidentally release the camera. It also seems to be well built, all metal. All in all I am pleased with this product

Strong, well-made, and easy to use.
I use this with a monopod and my Canon T3i. The setup up is quick and easy. Attaching and detaching the dslr is a snap. I particularly appreciate the extra safety switch that keeps you from accidentally releasing the latch. I would recommend this to others who wish to use it in a similar fashion.
