needs alternate ear pads
Right out of the box the sound is fantastic even at low levels. Some pro reviewers say it gets even better after 100 hrs of use... I can't wait! the only downside: It seems the ear pads rest against a larger area of your head than other brands. I'm concerned they might be too warm at times. The pads are easy to slip off. I wish they sold replacement pads that would match the fit of my old Sennheiser HD595's.

I have owned sr325e headphones for several year. I bought the GS1000e cans as an upgrade. I was happy with the improvement but not thrilled.
