Fantastic printer and works on my iMac 10.12.4 Sierra!
Last year I was looking for a new printer for my small business. I had an HP picked out but decided to delay the purchase. I recently wanted to revisit purchasing a new printer so I just called B&H. GREAT Printer-- You can't go wrong with this!
The printer arrived on-time as promised. I couldn't be more impressed with this printer. Very fast setup (of my WiFi), and fast to print. Printer draws a lot of power for 1-2 seconds or so when the first page prints after sitting in sleep mode-- this is to heat up the fuzer. I recommend that it be on it's own circuit breaker, because the line voltage will sag a bit during these 1-2 seconds, which may cause other equipment on the same power socket... Show More

Not as Expected
Purchased this for speed and low cost of toner/drum versus other brands. Very disappointed. Speed is fast . . . but only when printing WORD document. Any pdf prints at one page at a time, not as a complete file. That is significantly slower than my old Canon MFP. The toner/drum may be less expensive, but prints on envelope have ghosts and recently standard pages have specks all over. Would return it if I could and replace it with Canon. Since I p... Show More

Brother Laser Duplex Printer
We run a bridge club and so far now we are on our third Brother Duplex printer. Since we do not order the top of the line, we do not expect them to last forever. However, we are happy with the amount of time we do get out of each printer. Right now I just ordered another one that is wifi. We are moving to a new site and we will be running 2 printers. We will use one as a single page print and the other for duplex printing. When one wears out, we will use the other and order a new one again. I am also very happy with your pricing and free delivery. You do things right!

Hello Brother, Good-bye HP
Great printer! Why didn't I leave HP sooner?? This puppy is fast, duplexes with ease. It's a pleasure to print drafts of my writing without drumming my fingers waiting for the last page to come off. It's compact in size and weight, which is great, but the wi-fi feature makes it most versatile in my home office. Last, but not least, after shopping around, I found B&H. Price competitive, customer service was professional, efficient, and truthful--such a deal. Product arrived when promised and setup was so easy I almost felt cheated.

Good Value Laser Printer
Pros: Excellent print copy, painless networking, versatile, fast, useful/functional software, handles the load. Cons: Maintenance requires a delicate touch. cost of consumables This is my third Brother laser printer over 10 years. This 5100DN keeps a small business humming along smoothly. I print about 1000 pages/month. Brother lasers aint perfect but they achieve the objective with valued results. You just have to know when to let go of your trusted laser printer and move onto another. My last 5450DN passed on at 40K pages.

I use this product in my home office. Set-up was a breeze, easy to follow instructions. Driver installation went very well on the Mac OS + Network set-up. Afterward printer was ready for use in minutes. Brother did a nice job with the set-up disc and everything went very smooth . . . well done. Laser printer is fast. This compact laser printer has a smaller footprint than my older GCC Elite 12/1200. For the buck, it's got more bang, speed & memory . . . very affordable, very good reviews for dependability.

Another Great Printer by Brother!
I run a small but busy home-office and purchased this to replace another Brother laserjet black & white printer whose drum unit was causing characters to print blurry (I probably could have replaced that drum unit). This new printer was super easy to install (I chose wireless configuration) and it prints super crisp images and characters. I switched from HP printers to Brother several years ago and am very happy with Brother printers. Their customer service & tech support is good as well.

Too early to tell...
Fast printer, good black and white graphics, just want you want from a high volume printer. The reason for the four stars (instead of 5) is because it is too early to comment on the operating costs. I am still on the starter cartridge. Otherwise, many things to like. I wanted a cheap to operate industrial type printer that produces output quickly - it does seem to live up to that promise. Fast - yes. Quality B&W printing- yes.

Exactly what we wanted
We researched extensively for a quality black and white letter-size laser printer and the Brother HL-L6200W is exactly what we were looking for. Compact, great speed, prints well via wifi. Most importantly, low consumer with the super high toner cartridge (which we are waiting for it to be in stock). A smaller printer we looked at was not compatible with the super high toner cartridge.

Excellent network laser printer, two side printing.
This is our second one based on very good performance with the first one about a year ago. Easy setup, used as a network printer that prints two sides. One question to Brother support was responded to promptly. Recommended laser printer. No problem with ink if seasonally not used. Both printers operate on Apple OSX El Capitan and Sierra.

Solid choice for small office
It's a little noisy when printing, but it's very fast and the print quality is great. It handles manual feed items with no difficulty and the paper tray is generous. It's even smart enough to ask if you need to change the paper between manual print jobs. Network setup is simple.

Poor Printing quality
The printing was acceptable for the first 25 pages. After that, I have not been able to print a clean page. Printing quality is terrible very lite and the page is not clean from the toner. I am very surprised with the poor quality of this printer.

Great, straight forward

Don't buy
After an easy set up the printer worked flawlessly, printed very fast, and the quality was very acceptable. After less than 30 pages the print quality has streaks and is absolutely awful. I seriously regret the $250 I spent on this piece of junk.

Great Utility Printer

For anyone looking for an inexpensive workhorse.
So far it's delightful! Easy to set up the wifi with two laptops, even without dvd drives, and it prints very fast. I was looking for an inexpensive workhorse, and if continues to work like it does now, it will certainly fill the bill.

Great but noisy printer
Good print quality and speed. Setup (Ethernet) was very straightforward. The only drawback is the noise - you do not want this machine anywhere near your desk. Far and away the loudest laser printer weve owned.

Great home office printer
This printer is easy to setup and use. I have it connected to my home wifi so that I can print from several computers. The print quality is excellent. I also like the auto sleep feature when not in use.

Works great a little noisy
