What it lacks in Flexibility, it makes up in Sound
Our worry about feedback with this style of microphone has all but been nullified by this high performing microphone! Sounds great in small and large venues. However, the frame is very rigid and difficult to form to the head.

my 3rd headset
i use the isomax to teach Jazzercise, which I have done for over 21 years. I love the clarity and the great sound of the headset which i use with my audio technica wireless system. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that this is my 3rd in 2 years and they start to sound scratchy and fuzzy, but with the insurance, warranty they replace it, so it is not the end of the world. I have had other headsets and this one by far sounds the best.

Best headset for live singing vocals for price bar none!!
I ordered about every headset under $ from @ for my young daughter who sings professionally with exception of this mic which I ordered from B&H. After trying all of them, this Mic blew them all away in sound as well as head fit. Don't waste your time trying all the others out, just buy this and you won't regret it.Also, I called Countryman and spoke with their technical department about W5 in their model number. Best mic for aerobics
I teach aerobics and use this mic in class. The last one I had lasted 8 years and would have lasted longer had it not been accidentally left on a cabinet and a heavy object thrown on top of it. grrr I am hoping this new one lasts as long or longer. I have tried other headsets and nothing sounds as good and is as comfortable as the countryman. I teach Jazzercise and have owned a franchise for 18+ years and we sweat and move intensely and this headset sounds clear and sharp. It is great because of the quality of sound, but this is my 2nd one in 6 months of use and had the warranty and got my money back and purchased another. I hope that the other was just unusual. Works great!
I am a Jazzercise instructor and use this mic 3-5 times per week. I bought it to go with my Audio Technica transmitter and receiver. It sounds SO much better than my original AT mic headset! It does not contact my skin so does not get soaked with sweat like my AT mic did. The sound is pretty amazing. We have had an older version of this headset for a long time. So when looking for a new one we wanted to go with a Countryman again. Straight out of the box this sounded just as we expected. If you are in need of a pro headset for a singer type...they are bulletproof.
