Fits well but chunky
Fits very well with my 5d4. It is a little chunkier than the one I had on my old 5d3. Kind of wished they kept the new design slim like the version made for the older 5d3. Oh well.

L yes I would buy this again
I have long wanted an L-bracket. When I upgraded my tripod and ball head, I thought, sure, I can spend my children's college fund. RRS equipment isn't cheap, but built solid and really nice. I'm happy I got it.

This is well thought out and engineered product. Great industrial design. Also, aesthetically pleasing, and it even makes the camera that it supports somehow more attractive. Easily attaches to tripod with appropriate connection.

RRS L set for 5DS R camera body
My other base plates were like a universal plate that fits several cameras which makes them cheaper than the RRS plates. Some were proprietary in design, not Arca. if the plate came loose then it would either shift on the base or turn and not be parallel with the base of the camera. Never comes off my body, even handheld
Aside from being beautifully made, very light, and easy to use, this base plate extends the grip by a half-inch, which is enough to allow me an extra finger. This lets me hald-hold heavier lenses, especially when I add the GS-5 grip strap. Worthwhile, even if you never use a tripod.

REALLY RIGHT PLATE
Versatility: 1 Works with both the D4 and D5 2 Powerful magnet to secure hex wrench onto the plate for easy attachment and removal 3 Allows access to all the connections especially the battery 4 Provides two connections for bottom mount straps And as always, the plate is strong and has smooth machined surfaces. This is a well designed, constructed and useful tool that has my highest recommendation.

A Work of Art In Its Own Right
The RRS Base Plate for the E-M1 II is easily the best of the many (usually RRS) Arca-compatible plates I have purchased for various cameras. The fit and finish is perfect, the Allen wrench lives in the plate, there's an attachment lug and perfectly placed tripod screw hole. It won't leave the camera. What IS puzzling is the $100 additional cost of the L component. Seems like a bit of price gouging by RRS. I DIDN'T purchase this, because the design of the one for the original E-M1 made it essentially unusable.

Excellent fit and finish
The plate fits perfectly and adds just a little bit to the EM1 MM II's grip which makes the grip perfect for me. It is now a permanent fixture on my camera. All of RRS's products are top quality.

Solid RRS quality, fits well
Used with: Sony a6500 Pros: RRS quality; doesn't interfere with battery door; adequate clearance for ports and strap D-rings Cons: I deducted one star because I was interested in using the Peak Design grip/strap system, but this plate doesn't have a place on the bottom for the Peak loop connector to use. It appears that any connection to the bottom would have to be via screw, and would therefore have to be removed for tripod mounting. If you use a traditional neck strap (or no strap) there's no issue.

Yes, this plate is A-awesome, it lost a star for it's high price for a small piece of metal, but it's totally worth the expense if you have a A7S II with battery grip.

Worth the extra $$
It fits the camera perfectly and allows plenty of room to access the portals. I especially like having an allen wrench tucked into the bracket for easy removal. The excellent engineering is evident; easy to see why RRS is all the rage.

Adds to camera handling
As expected with any RRS product, this L bracket fits the camera perfectly. It takes a little manipulation to get the side part all lined up. I ended up removing the camera strap support to get it positioned correctly then putting it back on. What I was not expecting was how the side bracket really adds to being able to hold the camera. Excellent piece of gear
I bought this to replace a less expensive L bracket for my D810. This thing is a perfect fit, doesn't rotate and looks great to boot. I'm especially happy with the centering markings which allow one to orient the camera precisely when that is needed. Highly recommended.

Excellent product.
A very precise machined product for the X-T2, feels good, smooth. I have Really Right Stuff for my old XPro1 but it doesn't fit the new camera. Hence, rather spendy. Very fast for vertical and horizontal tripod use.
