beautifully made
The base plate provides a wider support than the standard square mini-plates and slides effortlessly into the quick release. Light, perfectly fitting, and fine to leave on all the time. Considering the minor cost difference to the universal plate, this is a far better investment.

Quality gear!
I recently purchased the Sony A 7R3 camera and needed an L plate. None of the "cheapy" Chinese brackets were available so I got the RRS bracket. It cost $200.00 but is beautifully made and fits on my camera perfectly. If you can afford it this is the best bracket you can buy.

It fits perfect fot my Nikon D610 with MB-D14 Grip
In B & H Photo is the only site I could find and L-Plate that fits in my camera without disconnecting the grip, so it gives more flexibility, precision and comfort to photography with tripod. The photo that is attached is from a food photography session. Thank you very much.

fits like a glove, but...
I had the L-Plate fr my old 5DMK3, loved the premium engineer work then already. I like simplicity and as lean as possible, would have loved the new 5DMK4 L-Plate in one piece even more with 5 stars. Less loose screes to worry about. Its not cheap but worth all the money.

Nice plate, easy to install
This plate has typical RRS fit and finish, was easy to install, works nicely. I like it. Two nice features are the included/attached allen wrench to conveniently tighten/adjust whenever needed and easily movable vertical section in case certain port access requires that.

Fabulous product that very practical and functional
This is a very solid and excellent quality plate. The cost is well worth it for the quality. I do a lot of photoshoots with dancers and I have to use a vertical orientation a lot of times. This plate allows me to do that much easier than the products I was using before.

Excellent piece of gear
I bought this to replace a less expensive L bracket for my D810. This thing is a perfect fit, doesn't rotate and looks great to boot. I'm especially happy with the centering markings which allow one to orient the camera precisely when that is needed. Highly recommended.

Top Quality
RRS equipment is expensive but absolutely the best quality. The L-plate fits my Sony a6500 as if it were part of the camera itself. I expect it to outlast the camera. I bought it from B&H after having difficulty with RRS website. B&H website and service are the best.

Fine product
Well designed for ease of use, light weight, and strength. Expensive but will be enjoyed. Easy to access side port for remote shutter release socket, nice 1/4 x 20 threaded hole in bottom plate (though none in side plate) for attaching monopod if lacking arca plate.

Amazing Quality, As Usual
The L bracket fits my a73 perfectly. It just integrates so well and disappears. I like that I can quickly take off the side L part if I want to slim it down. The battery door works fine. And the built-in allen wrench is pretty cool way to always have that with you.

Lightest L-Plate for D750 Around
Chose this L-Plate over all other ones (including the Kirk one) because of weight. Even though I travel with a DSLR, weight is a scarce resource and the lighter my kit the better :-) Not much more to say about an L-Plate. As usual for RRS, the build quality is top.

Great Quality & fit with Sony A9 & A7R3
Great Quality & fit with my Sony A9 & A7R3. I have many kind of plates for my cameras. This is lighter than SmallRig L-Plate & can't compare this with the other plates. It's worth the money, I'm really satisfied with it. Thanks for fast & safe delivery.

Sadly the best for the money
Like all RRS brackets this one is a perfect fit. Allows for extension if need on the access ports and includes a magnetically attached allen wrench. But pricey...really? Not sure I see how setting up a CMC machine to cut our of solid aluminum costs that much.

Greatest! Really Right Stuff B5DMkIV Base Plate
The RRS B5DMkIV base plate for the CANNON 5D Mark IV is a very well made item. It really makes mounting this camera on a tripod much easier and faster. I purchased 2 (two) for my 5D Mark IVs and I'm glad I did. Get yours today. You will not be disappointed.

Is very expensive but the only one in the market
I needed an anti-twist plate for my EM1 mk2. While there are much cheaper ones on Amazon, this is the only one that comes with an additional 1/4 hole to mount another accessory. The quality of the workmanship is top notch. However, it does come at a price.

Perfect for me, maybe not for everyone
It would have been perfect if designed with the same magnetic retention site for theHex wrench. Hence, shall you need to often slide the plate you could be a bit disappointed. But the above, it is light and extremely well manufactured. I would recommend

L-Plate
Big fan of RRS products. This is well made and does what it is supposed to do. However, it doesn't allow for full articulation of back screen when open like a book. Not a big problem, Can work around it but just something that users should be aware of.

Not worth the money
Ordered this for the OMD EM1 Mk ii. When I mounted it, had to screw the bolt down very hard. At that, the plate was not tight and I could not even open the battery door. Very disappointed. Returned it. You'd think RRS would get this right but not so.

Excellent! Bought two units.
Very well built and far superior to the Subwayafoto unit which I initially purchased. Love the laser engraved centermark position. I just wish there was a placeholder built-in for the screw adjustment tool similar to the RRS plate for the 1DX MK2.

Solid extremely well made adjustable L plate
Very well made (to the typical standards of RRS) L plate for the 5d4. Great that you can remove the L section and use as a simple base plate. Like that you can attach hand strap to it as well. 4 stars instead of 5 simply because of the high price.

Improved ergonomics of A7rii
An expensive way to improve the ergonomics of the A7rii. Pinkie and ring finger no longer curl around bottom of the hand grip. A welcome addition. Plus: I don't use a tripod much, but it is nice to not worry about the base plate when I need to.

I am very pleased with the purchase of L Plate
I attached it to the camera and it fit perfectly. I will leave it on as it works with tripod and head. I also like the L Plate because you can attached a camera strap to it. Because the K-1 is heavy this will make easier to mount on the tripod.

Another solid product from RRS!
I love how the bracket attaches to the camera strap tab in addition to the bottom of the camera to really get a solid connection. It is also very comfortable to leave on the camera and shoot with. RRS products are truly a pleasure to work with.

Beware
While the promo pictures clearly show the battery accessed with the adjustable side bracket all the way out , you actually have to take it off completely to open the door enough to remove the battery. Not a deal breaker but not as advertised.
