Fits well but chunkier in size
Fits very well with my 5d4. It is a little chunkier than the one I had on my old 5d3. Kind of wished they kept the new design slim like the version made for the older 5d3. Oh well.

Well made product with limitations for tethering
Great product. As anything from RRS. Expect complications when shooting tethered in portrait orientation as USB-C cable coming with camera won't fit between body and tripod plate.

L Plate makes my life easy
Wow, didn't realize how flexible having an L Plate would be... so easy to switch my camera around on the ball head. This product fits my 5dM4 PERFECTLY.. works great with my BH-30

RRS L Plate on D750 with Grip
Well built, light and a work of art. Fits like a glove with easy access to ports and battery in grip. This my second RRS L bracket, a must have for every camera used on a tripod.

Typical RRS quality & thought
Works great, precise manufacturing. Might be considered expensive but why would you go cheap when this is the last piece between your strap/tripod and $5000+ worth of camera kit?

does not actually fit
After a long call to RRS it turns out this does not in any way fit the G!X now produced. Too bad, that is on them not B&H. If you want something for a G!X II you are out of luck.

Excellent Product
This lives up to the quality I've experience with all RRS products. In addition to it's use with tripod mounts it works great with the RRS hand strap and makes grip even better.

Does what it should and well

Solid Quality

magnet loose
I had 2 other RRS baseplates before and they work great. But this one had its magnet (that holds in the allan key) loose, and it falls out whenever I pull on the allan key.

Very Handy Base Plate
I have a Foba ball head with the Arca Swiss type plates so this item fits right into my tripod/attachment system. Very well made and does what it is meant to do very well.

Works just as it should
This L-plate works as it should. Perfect fit and easy handling. The required hex wrench is included and even stored in the bottom of the plate so you always have it handy.

Base plate
The Really Right Stuff base plate for my Canon 5D Mark IV is very well built with high quality metal. I use it so I can attach my camera quickly to a monopod and tripod.

RRS L Plate for GFX1
I am very disappointed in this item as one cannot open the battery door or use the mic and cable release with this product. I thought RRS had better products than this.

fits exactly
I used a RRS L bracket on my 5Dmark2 and found it to be very useful. When I upgraded to a mark4, I made sure to upgrade the bracket. The usefulness is worth the price.

Yes, this plate is A-awesome, it lost a star for it's high price for a small piece of metal, but it's totally worth the expense if you have a A7S II with battery grip.

Greateaddition to Sony body
Known L-plate benefits and RRS quality that makes the tiny Sony body more comfortable to hold. Only negative I see is the price that maybe is too high for what is it.

Excellent add-on
Have fairly large hands and this improves the grip for me without adding much weight. Most outstanding feature is battery can be replaced without removing the plate.

Fit tight!
A no twist plate solution. Easy to add on the "L" later. Not a lot of other options out there yet. I like that it stows the allen wrench and holds it with a magnet.

A must have
I cant believe I lived without this. No more tripods loosening on your camera. No more plates falling off. Too bad its a little heavy but it does the job solidly.
