This L bracket is very well made and fits the X-T2 perfectly. The battery holder in the battery grip is not obstructed allowing easy battery replacement,

Works, but I expected it to key into the base better than just compression and a lip along the one side. It does work and is well made.

Great base plate, overpriced L-bracket module
I bought this L-plate primarily for the base plate, which I intend to leave installed on my X-T2 semi-permanently for both tripod mounting and attaching a Peak Designs Slide anchor. The base plate is wonderful, adding just a little height but no significant weight to the camera which makes it more comfortable to hold with larger hands. Excellent! Bought two units.
Very well built and far superior to the Subwayafoto unit which I initially purchased. Love the laser engraved centermark position. I just wish there was a placeholder built-in for the screw adjustment tool similar to the RRS plate for the 1DX MK2.

I bought it again!
I bought the RRS L-plate for the Canon 5D mark IV and after receiving it realized that working without one on my Canon 5DsR was senseless. They really complete the handling package for any situation. Vertical images and pano's become easier to do especially with an RRS rail adapter. A true solid feel to the camera and a must have for better balance. The extra weight with the battery pack and the L-Plate helps reduce the vibrations and limit pixel blur on the 5DsR.

Well-made piece of gear
Works perfectly with D7000. If you slide it far enough you can use it with the cable door open, for tethering, etc. My first and only L-plate. Not sure why it costs so much (loses a star for price) but it does the job!

Fabulous product that very practical and functional
This is a very solid and excellent quality plate. The cost is well worth it for the quality. I do a lot of photoshoots with dancers and I have to use a vertical orientation a lot of times. This plate allows me to do that much easier than the products I was using before.

Excellent Quality and Fit on my Nikon D810
I have been using this L-plate with a MeFOTO RoadTrip Aluminum Travel Tripod (BH# MEA1350Q1T). I've found it to be much more solid than my previous setup, which was with a typical quick release plate. I often shoot in the vertical orientation, so this plate works great. I keep it attached to my camera even when shooting hand held and it has not gotten in the way.

Incredibly well-made
This plate is machined to perfectly fit the 5D Mark IV and works perfectly with my RRS BH-55 ballhead. I haven't found a need to use the provided strap loop anchor since the L piece of the bracket is plenty stiff on its own. I also don't carry the provided hex key in the magnetic holder for weight savings (and I don't intend on moving the position of the L piece or taking the entire bracket off) but I appreciate the fact that there is a spot for ... Must have for the Really Right Stuff system
I use the L plate to securely attach the camera body to my ball head. Switching to vertical orientation is easy as the L plate has a surface for both horizontal and vertical placement keeping the ball head and base in it's position. This helps if you level the rig and then switch from landscape to portrait you stay level.

Higest Quality and Function
This is a superb L-Plate system with all the new stuff. I find these plates necessary for my work and RRS makes the best. The newer designs with adjustable foot and strap QR add important function.

Best Plate Ever...
I first bought this plate and the matching L plate for my 1Dx Mk II. Besides being a great L bracket I love that this plate is equipped with the military grade strap disconnect that RRS sells. I put the clips on my BlackRapid straps and can use the straps with my cameras and simply push a button to have clear full access to my monopod and ball quick latch dovetails. Lightest L-Plate for D750 Around
Chose this L-Plate over all other ones (including the Kirk one) because of weight. Even though I travel with a DSLR, weight is a scarce resource and the lighter my kit the better :-) Not much more to say about an L-Plate. As usual for RRS, the build quality is top.

Solid protection in addition to tripod link
RRS brackets are a work of engineering art. Solid, well designed and beautifully produced. These brackets have saved my camera numerous times in falls so in addition to their intended purpose they provide great protection for the camera to which they are attached. Expensive but function effectively. The new modular design solves the problem of wifi modules and tethering using Canon's provided jerk stopper but does not compromise the strong protection and stability of the bracket.I have RRS L-brackets on all three of my Canon DSLRs.

Really Great Stuff
As this is a custom made plate it works perfectly on my 5DS. I choose this instead of the newer modular on with an option of extending into a L shape plate because I don't believe that will be necessary for me. The appearance, craftsmanship and quality are all second to none. Fits nicely with my Area-Swiss ball head with classic quick release clamp.

Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is Really Right Stuff!!! I own a universal L bracket that was about $100 less, but I only would use it when needed. The Really Right Stuff L bracket is simply exquisite engineering and worth every $$$. It fits perfectly allowing access to the slide out battery tray and access ports without a need to take it off. Make going from horiz - vertical very easy and fast!
This plate easily lets you go from vertical to horizontal quickly without having to adjust the ball head. Well constructed and fits perfectly. Be advised that the plate may need to be adjusted if you use the ports on the side of your D750.
