Vello Two-Axis Hot-Shoe Bubble Level
a bit flimsy
I purchased this mainly to cover the hot shoe of my Leica S with the bubble as a nice add-on. Unfortunately this litte piece doesn't sit firmly in the camera's hot shoe! And as such I'll loose it sooner or later.

what's not to love?
It's a 3 way spirit level - sometimes this is useful when taking landscapes and the like. I find it funny that it's advertised as being for Nikon and Fuji - as if it would not work on ANY camera with a hot shoe!

lowly awesomeness
You can't get more basic than this gem. It protects your hot shoe AND keeps you on the level. It does just what it is supposed to. Love it. If you've lost your original shoe cover, you'd be crazy not to get one.

easy leveling
The Vello 2-axis hot shoe bubble works great. Once you level your tripod you can make adjustments with your L-bracket, etc. and know where you stand. The level position is easy to see on the top of your camera.

Solves the 90 degree rotation problem
I use this product a lot for levelling my camera in both the horizontal and vertical position. No more fussing with either one with this attached. I would like a tighter fit for the Canon 5D flash shoe however.

Fantastic price
Can't wait to use it this spring. The level on my Gitzo dried up. Too many hot days in the trunk of my car I guess. Happy this is available at a reasonable price and it's better than the one axis tripod level.

Works well
Sometimes i have those moments where my eyes decieve me, and i'm certain my frame is level....but, as sometimes happens, I was wrong. This great little addition helps a lot, small and unobtrusive. Works well

Saves tons of editing time!
Don't pick a lesser one to save a few $'s. This is perfect to help you get the shot right the first time. Also when having to post edit a shot, you may loose an important piece straightening your shot out.

Just what I needed
Simple, accurate, fits hotshoe perfectly. The only thing it doesnt work well for is vertical shots. If you take a lot of vertical shots or plan to and need a level I would go another hot shoe bubble level

The little green cube
I've been shooting some products and needed more precision. You can get away with fixing things in photoshop, but when liquids are involved everything must be level. I'm going to always keep this on hand.

Could be better
It is handy to have a bubble level with three axis of level making it easy for you to see in an instant that your camera is level. The downside is that it fits loosely in the accessory shoe on my camera.

during wedding time everything happens to fast and you need to be fast to, is great to have correct horizon on video to don't waste the shoot. is very small and you can save in your pocket ready to use

If you are Fuji X System user don't buy this items
It is advertised as specially design for Fuji and Nikon and cost more than the standard model. Well, it was very difficult to mount and I broke it trying to get off of the camera. I am sending it back.

Falls off easy from the hot shoe
Good for the price and what it is built for. The level fell off of two different camera's hot shoe. I finally lost the level while on a hike with the camera mounted on my tripod slung over my shoulder.

Perfect
This a great low profile bubble level that fits real nice in your hotshoe. Not that much to say about (after all it is just a bubble level). anyways, I would definitely recommend it. Also cheap price.

I haven't used it on a camera yet...but checked against my digital level and it was spot-on! It looks like it may be useful for non-photographic applications also...when items must be level or plumb.

bubble level
I like this item very much! There is only one drawback. You have to watch how you attach it to your camera. It can get in the way of the flash unit on some camera models. It fits the hot shoe nicely.

No key-stoning here!
I needed a secondary level to keep things straight when using my jib arm. After leveling the tripod, I use this one on the cold shoe atop my DSLR to verify my level horizon. What a great solution!

You Get What You Pay For
Helpful in principle, but hard to use. Tiny bubbles in very large chambers with widely spaced centering lines make precise leveling slow and difficult. Loose fit in flash shoe with too much play.

it levels the camera very easy and fast. I used to use a hand level and that took two hands, but with this bubble level attached to the hot shoe it leaves both of my hands free to other things!

Doesn't Fit Hotshoe
This level doesn't fit my D7200, Pentax ME Super, Canon A-1/AE-1 Program, or my Bronica Speedgrip. Broke after the first use when it became jammed in the hot-shoe of my D7200. Absolute junk.

Excellent and a must have
I have used this on several photo shoots and this is great to have. It is simple to use wit hthe camera hot shoe and makes your shots straighter and saves a ton of time with post production.
