I don't usually write reviews for products, but I was so impressed by the website and service that I felt it was neccessary! I was looking for this exact product on the web, and this is the ONLY site that made it easy to locate. They provided all the information I needed to know this product would fit my camera and tripod, it came in much quicker than expected, and the product was very safely packaged. I hadn't heard of this site before looking for the Quick Release Plate, but I will use it in the future when I need additional parts. I highly suggest purchasing from this company!

I would buy this product again
I bought this quick release plate for my manfrotto compact photo / video tripod. It works well and is a defenite plus to be able to get extra plates for the tripod; however a couple of things are a little bit inconvenient. the pin in front does not push in to mount on a regular camera you have to use a tiny screwdriver to push it out and hope you don't lose it, if you want to use it on a video camera again. The 1/4 inch screw requires a quarter or other coin to screw it in to the camera ( a little bit of a hassle )

Sturdy, but light weight
I recently purchased a Bogen model 785B tripod for traveling. The new MODO system is great; lightweight and easy to use. The 785PL Quick Release Plate fits the MODO 785 series tripods. Although the tripod comes with one plate, I purchased extras so I could leave them attached to my cameras. This way, I can quickly set-up the tripod with either of several cameras with an easy snap on, snap off. The latch mechanism holds the camera securely, yet is easy to use. B and H had first availability
I had purchased a new Manfrotto compact tripod with pistol head and I wanted some extra plates for it. It seemed nobody had them in stock, so I placed a order and wait order with two shops. B and H got the plates within a couple weeks, and they were FIRST to do it. I know they are in a competitive field. B and H is definitely a fine place to look for photo everything ! I will not hesitate to check them next time I need something, and they are even worthwhile to look at when I do not need anything.

Making my life easy with Quik Release
I have purchased a Canon HV-30E, Canon XH-AIE Pro HDV video camera's and a Nikon D3 camera from B & H for my outdoor adventures and they all are equiped with 785PL Quick Release plate for my Manfrotto Tri-pod so when that moment that im looking for happens im ready i can drop one camera and set up another so quick and so easy that David Copperfield himself was saying how did you do that but all joking aside it truly makes my life adventures easy thanks B&H

A Must Have!
Although this accessory can be viewed as a replacement part, I have found that having a second plate ( or third) makes production flow much faster when on a shoot. And I love this lightweight tripod! While I have some mega tripods - I use these ( have 3) - to capture video on the fly or when in tight places with auxiliary cameras. The pistol grip is an awesome feature - very smooth working for an inexpensive tripod. Overall - a must have!

release plate worked as promised
This was a replacement release plate for the one I lost. Works like a charm. The one thing I don't like is the little red screw, hard to get off because on you can not attach a DSLR etc!!! No instructions on how to get it off. that is why I am not giving this 5 starts

Why not buy two.....
I have two of these for different cameras so I don't have to screw them off the bottom every time I want to use it. Great to slip on an off the tripod and get ready for the next shot. Just unscrew the rubber top and it's ready to screw into the bottom of your camera.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted a few other Quick Release Plates for my Manfrotto Tripod, so that I would have one on each of my cameras. It was hard to track them down they just stoped making this tripod, but B&H was able to get them .... 1st class place that I buy all my equipment from.

Just what I needed!

Perfect replacement
Bought this QR PLATE so I could attach multiple items to my MANFROTTO COMPACT MKC3H01 tripod without having to unscrew the mount each time I changed items. Perfect match!! The red anti-rotation pin is easily removed if necessary and can be re-attached if needed.

suprisingly sturdy mount
I use this mount on my DSLR, but picked this up to throw in my video gear bag so I can use a smaller tripod when traveling out of state. I wouldnt use it everyday for this application, but for the few times I do need it it works great.

Most Important Part of My Tripod
I found this tripod at a garage sale without the necessary Quick Release. I ordered one for each of my main cameras and have used the tripod several times. The make it quick and easy. I should have bought them sooner. Great product!!

Nice Compact Tripod

Great tripod
Love the pistol grip and wheel adjustment. I lost the adapter plate and was very pleased to find it for sale for a reasonable price. Back in business for $. This tripod will collapse and fit into my backpack well.

I would buy this product again if needed

Precise Adaptor
This is the quick release plate I need for my Manfroto 390 series tripod. I needed a second quick release for the second camera. Only draw back is B&H does not list the tripods that it will work with.

Works well
Well worth the money to have a few extra and mount them on each device you are going to be using with the tripod. I have one for my camera, my binoculars, my spotting scope, and my video camera.

Easy to use
It's great because you can easily remove it from the tripod with the push of a buttom and start taking hand held shots. Its also small. can't use the tripod without it, so you can't loose it.
