Exactly what I needed
The one thing that my tripod head didn't have was a level. This little level was exactly what I needed.

It truly helps with leveling my slider shots!
It's awesome how something so simple can do so much. I use this on my camera's hot shoe when performing slider shots. It works like a charm!

Low profile but high quality
I just wanted to install a nice accessory to the hot shoe socket when buying this product. However, after installed it, I liked it alot. A low profile but high quality accessory.

Won't fit a hot shoe without filing.
It's a good concept, however the foot is too thick to fully slide into the hot shoe. I had to file down the plastic with a small file.

A handy thing to have in your kit.
We created a device similar to this many years ago. It came in handy many times out in the field and in the studio. This is not something one thinks about all of the time but it is a small tool that can be quite helpful.

As described
Not a lot to say other than it's a simple cheap way to help protect hot shoe contacts and level the camera.

Great Little Level!
I attach it to my camera flash shoe on landscape shoots, it's fast & easy. It's a must have little item to have in the camera bag.

Great Addition to Camera
This small level is a great addition to the camera. It installs quickly and is easily removed if you need to add a flash. I have it on a Fuji X-T30 and it works well for landscape shots and other situations where you are using the tilt screen to frame the shot.

Vello low-profile bubble level
I like the low profile and beveled shape of the level, and it comes in handy when doing low-angle shots using the LCD screen. The bubble isn't 100% accurate, however, obliging me to move it ever so slightly to the right of center to ensure the camera is truly level.

Must have for Architectural photography
I shoot Architectural and Real Estate photography. I shoot with a Fuji X-T3 and I need to Keep my camera level. This 3 axis allows me to shoot from hi elevation and be able to read the bubbles from below. The only issue I have is that it fees loose in the hotshot.

what's not to love?
It's a 3 way spirit level - sometimes this is useful when taking landscapes and the like. I find it funny that it's advertised as being for Nikon and Fuji - as if it would not work on ANY camera with a hot shoe!

Handy level!
It sits on top of my camera and lets me know if I am leveled at all times. I dose what it s posed to and no electronics to break or batteries to replace.

nice to have
Fits perfectly on my camera hot shoe of D810 and Panasonic GX85. It came off once in the camera back from GX85, but I think it may be due to the size of hot shoe on my GX85 for I lost original hot shoe cover when I loan it to my son. Nice to have extra bubble level when my D810 covers ball head/tripod's bubble level. I think it should also protect hot shoe from gathering dusts.

It helps to keep my camera horizontal balance.
Every time when I use my camera for video and place it on the ground, it helps to keep my camera horizontal balance.

Easy level to use
I really liked this level that fit in the hot shoe. However, it does not Lock in and carrying my camera it just fell out and I lost it soon after placing on the camera.

NOT accurate. Useless. Do not buy.
I was surprised to see how inaccurate it was. I thought I simply received a defective unit, so B&H shipped me a replacement. The replacement, while perhaps a little bit better than the 1st one, was also inaccurate & unusable. I tested both Vellos against two larger float levels and also my cellphone level app (all 3 of which gave me identical readings by the way), and BOTH Vello units were inaccurate and therefore useless. B&H issued a refund & did not ask me to return either unit (thanks B&H).

Great accesory
Use it to weight down your tripod, or hold accessories conveniently and in reach while in use. Once on the tripod might as well leave it on until the end of the photography session, since it folds up nicely with legs collapsed and folded. Problem is the velcro that straps it around the legs doesn't go to the very end, and leavs a tail hanging out that can get snagged, and cause it to unwrap. Otherwise 5 stars.

Excellent
I purchased this more for protecting my Hot Shoe contact point than for the level aspect. Nice tight fit and works well.

Stay on the level with this bubble level.
This little gem helps you keep your camera level when you're shooting landscapes or portraits. The third axis works when you turn the camera vertically. Nikon and Fuji cameras have a thinner hot shoe than most other cameras; that's why you need this model for Nikon and Fuji. Vello makes another model for other cameras.

Works well
Sometimes i have those moments where my eyes decieve me, and i'm certain my frame is level....but, as sometimes happens, I was wrong. This great little addition helps a lot, small and unobtrusive. Works well

In the way.
It gets in the way a bit. Using a tripod, it works well. I have used it on shots with out a tripod - so/so.
