A Real Deal

great investment
I'm very happy I made this investment! The capability of the camera allows more control than I'm used to. I'm very happy with the quality and ISO manipulation but I'm still working on mastering the different focus modes. As a beginner/ intermediate photographer, I think this is a great photo camera and takes pretty good video too.

Great next step camera!
I bought a Nikon D3200 that did a great job of teaching me the ropes. It was and still is a great camera. But as time went on, I started to notice some things that made me realize that it was time for a new camera. This camera is amazing. It has a moveable screen, a level in the viewfinder, so many different settings, and more within a relatively light camera. Definitely would recommend.

Great quality images; software useless; battery useless
I'm considering a return even though the images are very top notch and the functionality and control is pretty amazing. Why? The battery for video is next to useless. It lasts about 45 minutes from full charge. To add insult to injury, you have to charge it in the camera because for some reason a $900 camera doesn't have an included battery charger. Nice Camera
I had been using an A-6000 and loved the camera. This camera seems to operate as simple as the a-6000 and am looking forward to using it on an upcoming vacation . I purchased the David Busch manual and it it much better than the pamphlet that comes with the camera.

An Impressive Camera!
My initial impressions are favorable. It feels solid and exudes quality. Accessing key controls is straight-forward. Picture quality with the kit lens is good, but as with my NEX 7, Sony oversaturates, so I utilize the exposure compensation dial to lighten the image. The lens is heavy, which is one reason why I like prime lenses, but the convenience of the zoom is undeniable. I got a lot of value for the holiday price.

I really like the a7II! I will admit Im still trying to figure it out at times but the photo quality is amazing. I shopped around a lot before purchasing and I am happy with the price and included accessories. Great fast shipping!

Decent camera
Great camera just not as user friendly as my Nikon the menu is quite complicated That being said Im a beginner so with someone with experience this might not be a big deal. Lens is average and Sony tends to run high on good lenses B&H offered a great bundle with memory card , bag , extra battery and lens filter.

Mirrorrless Full Frame Wonder

First Federal Express messed up the delivery. I had to drive to pick it up. I purchased this mirrorless camera expecting a silent shutter. Sony you messed this one up. I just wasted a grand.

Great portable full frame
So far Ive been loving this addition to my camera gear bag. I was looking for a more portable full frame and this one has really fit the bill. This is my first mirrorless camera and my first camera that isn't a point and shoot that I owned so using this is a bit of a learning curve. The go-to for visual storytellers and artists
Performs incredibly in low light; offers great control over depth of field; light weight and compact design; compatible with both legacy glass and newer lenses. Image stabilization is key. Purchased originally for the flexibility of a system that produces stellar video and professional stills. After my equipment was stolen, I researched newer options, but found that the A7ii best fit my needs within a price point I could live with (as a semi-professional).

Amazing Camera!!
I love doing landscape and portrait photography but I get paid to do sports photography. So far the my A7ii has performed great for landscape shots but I'm still adjusting t the focus system. I have not had the chance to test my camera with sports but once I get more funds to get a couple more lenses I will be able to give give some thorough feedback on that subject. Overall, for my first full frame camera and first mirror-less system, it's an amazing camera. I am glad I decided to invest in Sony.

Great Deal!
Great deal on a full frame mirrorless SLR. The kit lense takes great pictures and offers a good zoom range. Kit comes with everything you need to start taking pictures, though would recommend getting a separate battery charger with some spare batteries.
