Excellent wireless set!
I've been using the Senal AWS 2000 for a few months now, and it's working really well! Right out of the box, I was impressed with the build quality. The transmitter and receiver are both very solid and have the feel of a high-end wireless set. I love that the audio ports use a screw-on 3.5mm connector as it makes the connection very secure and gives you the option to use any microphone or audio source with a 3.5mm cable. I have even used it ... Show More

An Incredible Wireless System
Let me start with this: I own both a Rodelink Wireless Kit and a Sennheiser G3 System and in my opinion, this Senal blows them both away. The great appeal of the Rode kit, besides price is its simplicity, but it comes at the expense of bulk and settings flexibility. The Sennheiser is an industry standard, offers great clarity but the menu and system settings are cumbersome. This AWS 2000 is both small (smaller than the G3) but also powerful wit... Show More

Solid reliable wireless lav system
When I first received this mic I immediately noticed the quality build on the transmitter and receiver, while most of my other mics feel like plastic toys this felt very pro level. The next thing I noticed was the excellent display, my other pro level mics from well known companies make me change the batteries before each shoot or gig, this has a battery display (for both transmitter and receiver) and all my other info! It has some nice options ... Show More

Poor Build Quality
Right out of the box after receiving I put new Wattson AA batteries in and the batteries got stuck. I spent 20 minutes trying to get the batteries out and finally did and I tried another pair of a different brand and the same thing happened. So reluctantly I put the rechargeable batteries back in the unit figuring I can just recharge them in the unit as advertised. This mostly worked, one unit charged to 100 after a few hours the other took nearl... Show More

Wireless boom pole with phantom power!!!!
I used this kit for a conference and several interviews for a week solid and they performed really well. Make sure you place a marker on your kit if you use both the A and B channel systems as you will not be able to pair the receiver with the wrong transmitter. Keep in mind, the battery level doesn't go to Zero or have a warning level. Once it gets to what looks like %25, it's basically about out. I had the receiver die on me once, but I caught ... Not without issues
I haven't experienced any issues with interference like some of the other reviewers experienced, and the sound quality works well for my level of production. My real complaints are with the soft buttons, which are already a little iffy on how long they'll last, and the battery door. Sometimes the soft buttons are responsive, sometimes they're not. So a wired lav is a necessary backup for me for any interviews I record. And the battery doors, at l... Show More

Great wireless system for on the go!
I'm really diggin' this wireless mic system. I do a lot of interviews, usually with little time to set up, and this system is excellent for what I need. The sound is crisp and I haven't had any interference issues. The one-touch scan and sync feature is amazing! Just press the receiver's AFS button to scan frequencies, touch the receiver and transmitter's IR ports together and wait a second for both to sync up. It's super easy and saves so much ... Show More

Incredible product for sound kit
The Senal AWS-2000 lav set is a great product whether you're on a budget or not. I recently used the set as an addition for a film in which I needed a 4th lav. Set up was quick and easy. Some of the major benefits to this set is how solid theyre built. The time to set them up is incredibly quick and easy. I was operating the AWS set along side the more advanced Lectrosonic lavs and they operated quite comparatively. One of my favorite things o... Show More

Sleek, Easy to Use But LOTS of Interference
I ended up returning this product. This kit is really sleek, and if you're in the middle of desert it's going to sound great. Setting up the devices and syncing them is really nice. They are also built incredibly well. The problems start when you enter any environment like an office. Case in point: When I tested this at home it sounded great. When I brought it to an interview to film at a Real Estate office it sounded horrible and really wishy... Show More

Great quality sound, fragile battery door
Great sound. The form factor is excellent quality too! The OLED screens are bright and easy to read for most individuals. Yes, the batter doors are tricky. There are two clicks. If you slide the doors outward while still against the case of the transmitter and receiver it will help avoid breaking them. You will hear or feel a slight click. The door will not open fully at the first click. It will only open about 3/4 of the way and not enough for t... Show More

BACKGROUND: I work with wireless mics (lavs and stick packs) on a daily basis, and have so for the past 20+ years. REVIEW: Our station works with Sennheiser mics, and I'm not a fan. They break easily, and their on/off button design is a poor choice. Our interior mics are Sony, which handle the stress of daily use far better. Having been frustrated with the Sennheisers, I took a chance with this unit while it was a daily special. I've used it on... Show More

Horrible Wireless system
This wireless system would now work in a gym with 0 interference when the transmitter and receiver were less than 10 feet apart. they claim that it's a "true" diversity system. it is not, the mic would sync when the transmitter and receiver were right next to each other but as soon as talent got back in front of the camera the receiver would lose the signal. Utterly horrible and unprofessional kit. Lesson Learned don't trust blogs and social medi... Show More

Great system
I haven't used this system for ENG yet, I'm using it in Live Sound work because I wanted something battery operated. I boost the connection strength to the maximum mW setting. I scan and sync before every show. I use it in hotel ballrooms and banquet facilities all over the U.S. Sound quality is fantastic. Wireless connection has never dropped out on me. There are usually 400-1000 people at my events. The UTM-86-35H lav mic is ok. I'm satisfied w... Show More

Can't beat it for the money
Senal thought of so many things when they put this wireless kit together. It's quick and easy to setup and use. Scanning and pairing/syncing is really easy. Best of all, with the easy to read display on top, it can be used in a sound bag (which Sennheiser EW series cannot). Also, a very useful feature is that the receiver can be powered via a micro-USB connector, which means that a 10,000mAhr power-pack in your bag will run the unit all day on a ... Show More

My new favorite wireless system
I bought 2 of these sets when they were on sale and they seem to be a steal for the price I paid. They have no gain noise and are easy to set up. I love the one touch frequency scan/sync feature, its much simpler than the Sony or Sennheiser G systems. I also love the OLED displays which are easy to read and the receiver displays the battery status of the transmitter as well, which is a terrific feature. As others have noted, the receiver antennas and battery doors are a little chintzy but you cant have everything. Definitely the best sub $500 wireless kit hands down.

First time to use wireless mic ever!
Hi! I am a Youtuber and I always felt something not enough by my Rode VIdeomicro for my contents. So I was looking for upgrading mic gear to wireless system and boom! I found Senal AWS-2000. Whats good: 1. So easy to use! Just press the on button and you are ready to go 2. quite cheap compare to other wireless systems 3. good quality of sound and build quality of the products I recorded all my contents recently in Las Vagas and did not have any problem from Senal AWS-2000. Strongly recommend!! Thanks

Super great for conferences!
The receiver will accept a Sure antenna, and you can plug the unit into power with the usb plug, so I used it for a 4 day event with no problems. The xlr transmitter unit was really useful for setting up a shotgun mic on a boom and then wandering about capturing interviews on the fly. Audio was straight into the camera and I didn't need to worry about cable management. Totally recommend these units for interviews or event coverage.

not robust enough
so the battery door broke in use in one week (about 5 times switching batteries). they repaired it. also its not solid at avoiding interference. I think the transmitter is super touchy. i had it on a rock with static, i put it on a binder, the static was gone? it frequently makes a rustle sound even thought the signal is strong. unfortunately im going to have to shell out for a more trustworthy solution.

Battery Cover Very Fragile
Excellent sound, very clean signal, easy to use. But the springs that put tension on the battery inside the compartment are so firm that the hinge on the battery cover broke after only eight or nine uses. I am past the return policy so I have to deal with gaffer's tape every time I need to change the battery. Would not purchase another one until/unless there is a redesign of the battery compartment.

Very happy with this system.
Very clean sound. One button sync is easy. Strong headphone and line out levels. Includes 1/8 to XLR adapter. Camera mount snaps into place and is quite snug, I'm afraid to remove it, so I'll just leave it on. Excellent manual in booklet form, as opposed to the competition's accordion folded roadmap style single sheet. A small detail that makes a huge difference, especially on a first-time use.

Excellent signal and overall quality
This is amazing. It's very well built, the ability to power the transmitter as well as the receiver via USB with a power bank is incredibly useful, the synching via IR is super convenient and fast, it has a broad options of settings. Signal quality is very good, I tested it with 5mts distance and two thick walls in between with zero loss or interference. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

NOT WORTH THE $$$$
While the lav system delivers professional-quality sound the body design and mechanism is cheap. One week into ownership the gate for the housing on the body Pack broke. It is not easily opened and there is a bit of struggle trying to replace batteries... So now I am stuck with a lav system that may soon not work
