Great Monitor, but with a few minor shortcomings.
I bought this monitor as I needed a replacement for my ageing Apple Thunderbolt display. Excellent monitor for photography, same panel as the SW271
The PD2720U has the exact same specs as the top-rated BenQ SW271 (which I also own), since it uses the same display panel. The differences with the PD2720U are in the inputs (it has 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports), it doesn't have hardware calibration, it has slightly different software and user interface (a better one, in my opinion), and it doesn't come with a shading hood. Perfect monitor but severe image retention
Bought two of these to use side by side. The colors are amazing. Screens are really vibrant and look really nice. Calibrated manually which confirmed their advertised color accuracy for professional work. One has a dead pixel but I was willing to look past it. Thus far, not overly impressed. Please keep in mind that I have only had this monitor about a week so still learning. I think that the colors are good and accurate. Speakers are awful; why bother? Perfect monitor
I have been hunting for a new monitor for a while. And since I am a Mac user I was hoping for thunderbolt. Extremely Happy
I previously had a 27 Dell monitor on my work computer that cost me around $700 and was 1440p. I was a little disappointed with it. It had a noticeable dot pattern at certain viewing distances. Almost like a screen door effect. It also wasnt uniform in color. It really is impressive
I dont typically write reviews, especially on products like monitors and TVs because the differences are so minimal, but this is a product worthy of reviewing. I purchased this to work in graphic design and do a lot of photo editing with a Macbook Pro. FINALLY - a dream monitor!
I absolutely love this monitor. I recently picked up a 2013 MacPro for photo/design use after my older iMac started fading and not performing like I need it too. Poor AdobeRGB
I sent this monitor back. (1) It only lasted about a day and half before its Displayport input stopped working. BenQ support was very helpful, but acknowledged that it was not working correctly. Perhaps I just got a dud. (2) During it's short working life, I was only able to calibrate it (using the latest SpyderX Pro) to 78% of AdobeRGB. To their credit, BenQ is notably silent about the AdobeRGB coverage on this monitor. But if you need AdobeRGB for printing, etc, you may want to look elsewhere.

Perfect for what I needed
This monitor works great for what I need. I run it with a MacBook Pro (2018) and have 6tb storage connected through thunderbolt 3. I am an amateur photographer so the screen resolution and size gives me plenty of room for editing. The on-board docking is a plus. I had a small problem with the first monitor and B&H customer service was very quick and efficient in replacing it. The new monitor has worked flawlessly.

Good but Not Great
I wanted a 27 inch 4K monitor with a height less than 19 inches for photo editing. The BenQ PD2720U, despite being a designer model seemed to meet my requirements. The monitor is sharp and the puck control is handy. Viewing angle is the most very limited of any monitor I have owned. After seeking other monitors with the intention of returning this, I decided that there were none that fit my needs any better.

Almost bought another one!
I bought this less than a year ago and I have loved everything about it. If the display didn't start fading on me I would have said this is the best monitor out there. I almost bought a second one! After 8 months of use, the screen started fading from all four corners. I am battling it out with Ben Q now. Great features but too much headache for the price. The search continues for that perfect monitor!

incredible monitor!
This monitor is outstanding. I'm a photographer/videographer, and the resolution and color are perfect for my work. I'm working with a fully loaded 2018 Macbook Pro, and it is a great pairing. It even charges my Macbook! Huge upgrade from my old Apple Thunderbolt display.

So far so good!
Have a properly calibrated 4K OLED and they matched perfectly right out of the box. Dont know about the HDR performance but sRGB and REC 709 is right on the money. The metal gray is a nice a look to and its a true 10 Bit panel as well. A no brainer for the price.

Perfect
Sharp, bright, brilliant colors, and rotating! All I wanted from a monitor for my portable mac. Would have purchased the 32, but it was not in stock. A youtube video convinced me that the 27 was all the real estate I needed and the smaller screen is brighter too!

Color matches my iMac, but quirky UI and HORRIBLE speakers
This display is great once calibrated with an XRite i1Studio alongside my built-in display. I am docking one star for the speakers. They are garbage. Take them out and they can have a star back ... that's how bad they are.

It's okay.
It is an antiglare screen which I did not anticipate. I find that shiny screens are more crisp and realistic. There is no volume button on the monitor and it is a hassle to adjust volume as well as screen brightness.

Great for processing photos
Bought this monitor to pair with a new MacBook Pro for photo editing. Coudnt be happier. Hooked it up out of the box and no issues. The color and resolution is much better than my older Mac monitor. Highly recommend.

Brokenlines in screen, twice
I ordered one and it had vertical lines in the screen. I returned it and had it replaced with a second monitor which also had vertical lines in the screen. So, I gave up on the BenQ. Very frustrating.

Good Monitor, Received w/Line Down Middle
It's a good looking monitor. But I received a copy with a dead line down the middle of the screen, so I didn't bother to calibrate it or test it before return.

Second One...
First one had a dead vertical strip through the screen. Second one has dead pixels and dust specks under the screen. Not impressed.
