Great product

I have been using wireless headphones for many years. mainly to listen to the TV at night without bothering my wife. My son uses it play video games without bothering anybody else I own two units and I bought the expansion as one older set was not working anymore. the sound quality is really good and even with the two systems working simultaneously, there is no interference between the two. in addition my son can have a friend over and both could... NOW I can Understand the TV

Dec 28, 2013

I have some hearing loss, my wife doesn't. So these let me crank up the volume without bothering her. Until recently, SHE has been asking ME What did they say? Then she wanted her own pair, so now we have a set for each of us. The sound is much better than the TV AND the sound bar, together. The bass is great, too---especially since the sound bar that we added to the TV doesn't have a separate bass woofer. The top of the phones have built-in meta... Show More

Good product...just one thing

Aug 1, 2012

I have a set of these. They work fine. I'm a little hard of hearing, and use them to watch TV. The only negative I have is that the TV audio has to be at a level the system will accept, otherwise it reverts to noise. That level is reasonably low. They do fall off my head when I bend over. Helpful hint: do not wear them on your head while you are washing dishes and moving a big cooking pot containing three inches of olive oil in the bottom. My hea... Show More

Note the word Expansion

Jan 18, 2010

My wife uses these to listen to TV while walking on a treadmill. Fortunately for me I had previously purchased a complete HDR 130 headphone set because the HDR 120 EXPANSION headphones do not come with a supporting transmitter/charger station. For me this was no issue but I didn't notice this fact in the associated marketing literature. Buyer beware. The HDR 130 headphones I had previously purchased had suddenly stopped working and the replacemen... Show More

OK but HDR 130 is Better

Nov 14, 2013

I bought this headset to replace my broken HDR 130 headset (couldn't find a HDR 130 headset-only). Although the HDR 120 is perfectly capable, it is not nearly equal to the 130. The earpieces are smaller, flat (no soft cup surrounding the ear), and construction seems cheaper. The flat earpieces are not comfortable for long listening sessions as they press the ear against the side of your head. Likewise, they don't isolate outside noises as well as the 130, and sound qualify is not as rich. I realize I'm comparing the 120 to a more expensive product, but I'm disappointed all the same.

I only purchase Sennheiser Headphones

Jan 5, 2015

I originally purchased two HDR 120 - Wireless RF Expansion Headphones with the rechargeable bases a few years ago. One for the living room, one for the bedroom. I just purchased a third headphone (without the rechargeable base). All three headphones can be used at the same time which is perfect when my buddies come over to watch football (Go Pats) and my wife is in the other room reading. The dial volume and dial reception on this unit far exceeds the cheaper brands that only generate 3 wireless signals. Great buy through B&H, great service and on time delivery.John B*

They fall off your head when you lean forward

Feb 15, 2016

Yes, they have great sound, are rechargeable etc etc. But they are an absolutely hopeless design. We have a set each for my parents (both hard of hearing) to watch TV. Everytime they lean forward to push up off their chair, they headphones drop to the floor. Also, the tuning button is too close to volume and so we've had to tape it over to prevent them using it accidentally. That worked for all of a week until one of them managed to move it, and then it takes a week for one of us to get over there to adjust it back. I would not recommend these for the elderly.

Great Company

May 30, 2018

B&H is an outstanding company. My headphones left ear stopped working about 6 months ago, i adjusted to listening just out of the right ear, then it started humming in my ear...my wife loves that i use headphones which has prevented any 'turn down" turn down arguments over the past 8 years.....when i said this headphone is shot but i can get it replaced from your company and she did not hesitate 1 second...sheshouted "get it...get it.....i ordered it and it arrived the NEXT DAY....so there shipping is unmatched.....need parts deal only with B&H

Excellent Headphones

Jul 3, 2013

I bought these as an extra pair with the base we already own. With a new baby in the house who wakes up at the slightest sound, these have enabled my wife and I to actually watch action movies again - with loud, crystal-clear sound! Only downside, as others have noted, is that you should not order these if you plan on using them while doing any tasks that involve bending over, because they WILL slide off of your head. For walking around or sitting on the couch, though, they're perfect.

Comfortable Headphones

Jan 22, 2010

I use the headphones to listen to the audio track on my TV set. I am Hearing Impaired, and use Hearing Aids, however they pick up every little bit of noise in the room. These headphones allow me to hear television without the usual distractions. They have excellent quality audio and are very comfortable to wear. I have two sets so that I can use one while the other is recharging its batteries.

Great low cost wireless headphones

Jun 13, 2014

I ordered these to supplement a HDR120 setup I already have. I had a pair of cheap headphones and was looking to move up in quality. These fit the bill!! We have used them for over a week but have not replaced the batteries yet. The biggest drawback I have with them is that they are a bit on the bulky side. Not bad but not as light as some of the more expensive ones I have looked at.

For Less than $100.00 this unit delivers clear crisp dialog, crank it up and rock out to music, Sits comfortably on head, some say its slippy, well dont do push ups while wearing! Last pair lasted 10 years! Sennhieser quality, Reasonable price, great performance . If you have $400.00 laying around for earphone, by all means go ahead, but if not These will not disappoint!

Superb fit, comfortable, decent sound

Nov 7, 2009

Use this to watch movies at night with a front projection system. Purchased 4 sets and have them scattered throughout the house so I can use them in any room with upto 4 people listening to any one source at a time. Great fit. Very good sound, although can suffer from distortion on some frequencies at times, but the three options usually let you clear it up.

HDR 120

Apr 27, 2014

Ordered this headphone to replace the original at the suggestion of Sennheiser. (I broke the head strap.) The headphone is charged by the original charger (TR130) and has typical Sennheiser quality. Only negative comment would be that the headphones are a bit tighter fit than the original and the off/on switch is less easy to use (tiny switch).

Great Gift For Elderly parents

Jan 18, 2016

These were bought for my 91 year old father. He was having trouble hearing the TV and was constantly increasing the TV volume to a booming level. Since receiving the headphones he can follow TV very well and mute the volume on the TV. Set up was simple and the sound is clear. The range doesn't seem as great as advertised but it is sufficient.

A great way to help hard of hearing

Mar 1, 2010

We drive the Sennheiser 120 transmitter from our mixer board in our church and presently have 7 headsets. Those with hearing loss have stated this is the clearest they have heard a service in years. We use 2 chargers to charge the headsets during the week. We could have many more headsets, the transmitter can handle them all.

was looking for two wireless headphones so my wife and I could watch and listen to a tv program while each of us was using the exercise equipment at the same time in our home exercise room. These headphones did exactly what we wanted with terrific sound so all could be understood, whether watching the news, espn, or a movie.

I bought these to keep things happy in the bedroom. Wifey can sleep undisturbed and I can watch TV AND hear. Charged them up, plugged them in to my 32 Samsung and they have worked flawlessly since. Quite amazing sound quality with very good distance. Excellent battery life. Overall great value. Highly recommend.

Clear sound; comfortable, lightweight

Feb 25, 2010

My mom has low hearing. She depends on her two sets of HDR 120 headphones and wears them nearly 24/7 to listen to her TV. The HDR 120 is very comfortable and lightweight, has good sound quality, and runs for a long time on each charge. She says she can hear her TV clearly for the first time in years!

German engineered?

If you can't keep them on your head there isn't much to say about the sound. How does a company that specializes in headphones make a product that fails to meet the basic requirement? Don't bend over while wearing.
