it works but took awhile to instal update

got this for my daughter . we were surprised how long it took before she could you it . it's not a case of just plug and play. Once you fit it to your xbox one you have to wait for the turtle update. ours took 12 hours so yea my daughter was not best pleased . once set up it worked i guess as i have not used it i cannot comment on performance as i have not used it . she is nine so is unsure on the quality of sound

Does exactly what it says

Not just for Turtle Beach products. This fitted straight away into the X-Box handset and immediately picked up my Razer Headphones. Works flawlessly with no lag. Allows me to dispense with that awful 'official X-Box headset'. Doesnt list which other headphones it will work with but chances are if youve got a decent quality set of phones and a mini jack out it'll be fine.

Why is wire so short!?!

Does what’s required, but the connecting wire is so short, my son now has to sit directly in front of his xbox and the tv, terrible for kids eyesight! I’ve now purchased 3 sets of headsets, none of them worked and then had to fork out for this connector, (which costs more than the headsets) and the wire is too short! Fed up now!

Excellent piece of kit

Bought in conjunction with another controller that has the official Xbox adapter. In my opinion this one is smarter looking and is better because you can adjust volumes more independently and there is a mute button and superhuman hearing button which works really well. It enhances high pitch sounds.

Recommend this for turtle beaches

This headset connecter is insane. The difference in sound that it gives is phenomenal. Much clearer than the standard connector and has turtle bea h mode which is a lot gives a lot more base sound and sounds as If you really are in the game. I bought one and ended up buying another for my brother

Great device for connecting my Beats

Needed an option to connect my Beats headphones so I could use the mic function without getting a rubbish gaming headphones and this is perfect. Volume controls are ace with extra features for boasting certain parts of the audio. I leave it on all the time, even when not connection headphones.

Great Purchase

I’ve never been the type to use a headset but after a buying fifa 19 i had to give it a try for online with my friends and this adapter is fantastic, There is buttons on the adapter itself which allows you to adjust volumes from the game and from the party, I would definitely recommend

Turtle sound

I bought this as my son was finding it hard to control the audio on the Xbox one using the menu system. Basically it plugs into the controller and you plug your headphones into 3.5mm jack. It has separate volume and chat controls which makes it a lot easier to adjust on the fly.

Good product

Very comfortable to use, great sound quality control. Mute button is not in the normal place for most controllers but is something you can get used to. A little difficult to remove from the controller and for smaller hands it makes it a little more difficult to comfortably hold

Not bad

An excellent device for those who have a faulty headphone socket on their controller or if you want to have a new experience. On mine the microphone monitoring function has stopped working hence the stars. But other than that it’s another great product by turtle beach.

Just what my son needed. The original headset that came with his Xbox had broken so a replacement to get back online communication with his friends was required. Having a new headset he needed this part to make his gaming headset work. Easy to use and the perfect solution.

Upgraded sound experience

This little gadget not only improves the sound quality but it renders a faulty controller due to a broken Jack inlet useable again. I purchased a 2nd after a few weeks of my 1st purchase due to my daughter not being very happy that she didnt hav one, Would defo recommend

Great adaptor with good functions!

After struggles with an official xbox one headset, took the plunge of a turtle beach adaptor for existing TB Heast we had. The improvement was obvious, much better quality and wirh better options for ramping up listening or chat...my boy is pleased with this purchase!

Works a treat !

Bought for my son who as experiencing problems with his xbox one headset/controller. This works brilliantly, plugged it on to controller & plugged in headset and no further issues with the new controller & new headset which had been changed 3 times. Son really happy.

Solved Xbox mic problem

My sons headset mic was not working on the Xbox, we tried everything; changing the headset/mic, factory reset of the Xbox etc and still the mic was disabled. Someone suggested buying this headset adaptor and it worked a treat, with headset & mic back up and working!

I got this for my son the one he wanted wasn't in stock anywhere. When I got home and took it out the pack I was very disappointed due to the lead being so short. So now he had to sit closer to the TV. I wanted to take it back but he was getting very upset about it.

Plugs in ready to use

After working out my sons xbox controller wasnt connecting to his microphone on his headset thought it was going to be an expensive fix. This was brilliant hust plugs in connected straight away and does the job. Saved me money. Happy teenager. Happy parent.

Be sure to make the controller is up to date and be weary of connection issues. Eg. Can conflict with Xbox software. Overall the design was great and the sound immaculate. Also note. Make sure your headset is compatible as this may not work with certain ones

Bought 2 headsets for children but they wouldn’t work on Xbox, but worked on other consoles so we bought this adapter and used it on both controls and now they are working. So glad I’ve got it now. It’s even got an old headset working again.

Son very happy with this

My 14 year old son is very happy with this as it fits firmly and fits not come off .. Works as expected.. Only issue is he can not keep this attached and use the charging Dock at the same time. So he has to remove it every time he needs charge.

As good as the Microsoft version.

I picked this up after my original Microsoft adapter broke. The turtle beach adapter was cheaper than getting another Microsoft one and it has all the capabilities plus some extra features as well. I would recommend this headset adapter.
