Not confortable

Okay sound for the price but really lacks in comfort, after 30 minutes it starts hurting your ears and you have to remove them.

These headphones are great to cancel out noisy neighbours, and they do sound good. They are a bit on the heavy side, and a litle bit tight.

Headphones

Jan 17, 2017

I had a pair of these headphones someone gave to me year ago. For musicians when tracking they are awesome, noise that comes from outside is minimal so is the music coming out of them when you put them on. Yet they are quite loud, I now have 4 of these.

Not so transparent sound

Jan 2, 2017

The headphone is very heavy, and since it is closed, it really gave me a headache after every usage. Sound appeared to be high-cut. It always very muddy to me. I understand this may be the cheapest sound "monitor" on the site, but please do yourself a favor and try other headphone of at least $50.

Do their job, but there's better out there

Oct 13, 2016

I bought these for drummers to use when I'm recording. Good points: Noise cancellation is fantastic - almost as good as the industrial ear defenders I have lying around. They're really tight fitting too, which means moving about isn't an issue either. Despite that, they're still pretty comfortable too - you can wear them for a full day without any major issues. Bad points: They don't sound great. They're really lacking in high-end, whic... Show More

Worth a try...?

Sep 28, 2016

They aren't meant to listen to music I guess, they don't sound nice but considering the very low price and the isolation offered, they could serve you well when isolation is needed. If you are a drummer or if you need a cheap pair of headphones for mic placement on a guitar cab, they may be a good choice!

great isolation at a great price

I Like these headsets, if you on a budget these are perfect for the job, I own a set of these and also vic firths SIH 1 and EX29 isolation headsets, sound quality is good (note: they not produced for sound quality ie mixing or general listening to music, they are mainly for the musicians who are being recorded) I don't see much diference in quality between these and the vic firths, though I sense the vic firths maybe a tad tighter on the head giv... Great quality

Apr 25, 2016

I use these for playing along to my iPad plugged into my electric drums. The sound quality is great, really clear, very impressive. I have used several different headphones, including some £150 ones, and for my drumming these are the bomb. They don't move while I'm drumming and have a nice tight grip on my head, without me feeling like they're crushing my skull. Pros, very cheap and very good! Cons, they look a bit crap to be honest, not stylish!

Drum practicing made perfect

Apr 4, 2016

Ok, I bought this headphones for drumpracticing (what they say is its main purpose). I needed some headphones that could cut the main sound of my drum playing and at the same time I could plug them to something to listen to audio at the same time. For this purpose, they are perfect! They are cheap, but well constructed, solid, I don't think they hurt after using for a while (not for me at least). The cable beeing in spiral is well done, and ... Show More

Excellent for the money

Feb 21, 2016

I've been gigging these for a few years now on drums so I can hear click and backing track. The sound isolation is Great, just enough so I can hear my drums but also the sound is clear without needing to be too loud. Comes with handy adapter too allowing use with 1/4 or 3.5mm jacks. . Highly recommended.

These headphones clamp to your head like there's no tomorrow. No spill whatsoever to the outside environment and vice versa, so they are great for tracking guitars and drums to a metronome with no spill into the mics. However, after some time they get uncomfortable as they are too tight whatever you do. Heaps of bass and not much treble make them a muddy mess, but they are listenable if you EQ them out. Lots of 100hz to 300hz, and drops out ... Show More

Better than the expensive brand they replaced!

Feb 1, 2016

I bought these to record drummers in my commercial recording studio. I already own the industry standard studio headphones and special drummer's headphones. These t.bone headphones have similar noise reduction to my branded drummer's headphones, but are much more comfortable to wear and seem to be more durable (my expensive phones are made of a thin, hard plastic which cracked when dropped by a drummer, and one earcup has also ripped through). Ok for the money

Dec 23, 2015

These aren't expensive headphones so I wasn't expecting much from them. And I pretty much got what I was expecting. They are good at blocking out unwanted environment sounds, but the force of the ear cups can become uncomfortable after about 10 minutes or so. The sound is dark to my ears. I compared them to my Audio Technica MF40's and they definitely lack some top end. But they're ok for listening to music. I wouldn't mix with them though.

Drumming headset

Dec 6, 2015

Good headset for monitoring when playing close to a loud drummer. The sound is not very fantastic, but good enough for monitoring. The comfort is not fantastic, but that is a tradeoff from the noise cancellation. The build quality seems very great, and they haven't failed me yet.

Good for tracking

Oct 30, 2015

This pair of headphones are great for tracking, but not for mixing as the audio lacks on the bass frequencies, so keep that in mind. Their noise-cancellation capability isn't also that great --not for example at the level of a pair of earmuffs-- but still work to some level to isolate you from the environment. The volume of the headphones is definitely loud, though, which can counteract the lack of noise-cancellation. I haven't tried any other pa... Show More

Great for keeping noise in and out.

Sep 23, 2015

Great headphones for the right applications. Excellent for recording loud drums - hardly any room sound makes its way to your ears with these on so you can keep the headphones at a sensible level and still hear your mix just fine. Good for recording bass instruments as the low end is decent compared to DT100 etc. When recording delicate acoustic guitar parts this keeps the click track etc inside the phones and does not leak into the microphone. ... If you need monitoring and serious noise isolation

Sep 16, 2015

Sound isn't very good in these, they're not really that comfortable either (especially if you wear glasses), but they isolate well, are quite sturdy and don't feel like they're going to break so easily. However, if you have the cash and don't need this much of isolation I would go for Beyer DT-250 or something like that instead. These work OK for tracking in a small studio where it might be needed this kind of isolation due to sheer volume from smashing drums and load guitars, but it's not very inspiring, the sound.

Now these I like

Jul 13, 2015

I use these with my Roland TD20 in the studio, With an acoustic kit the noise cancelling is great but does not isolate you so you still feel part of the room. Not as comfortable as the Vic Firth but sound is great. As a studio pair I would definitely recommend these, as alive large venue with monitoring I would use Vic firth. A nice pair for the price

Very good, quality headphones

Jun 4, 2015

The headphones are an excellent basic attachment to any electric drum kit. They are comfortable to wear for sustained periods of time and can be used with earphones underneath so that songs can be practiced while being listened to. The sound quality is excellent - crystal clear and without missing any of the sound. However, with some kits the wire can become a nuisance - although this could be experienced with any headphones plugged into the kit. In short, these are the perfect headphones for any kit with a great sound and cosy-effective price!

Works for the ppl who are thinking of getting cheap noise-cancellation headphones. But if you want to have a good quality semi-pro tool for a long term use go for the Beyerdynamic Dt-770m. Trust me. These sound nasally and trebly and feels uncomfortable on ears.
