Just bought it and I love it!`
My photos look great and my videos are awesome. Great quality. I think that some of the buttons are not initially intuitive to find, but after some practice and research, it's easy to get to know the camera. I bought it with the kit lens and it's perfect.

Nearly perfect
I jumped from a GH2 all the way to the a7iii. So still lots for me to learn. Some actions/functions disable others, and all this is unclear despite hours of Googling. Please, someone write a decent manual. Also, I don't think the image stabilization is much better than my GH2, which is disappointing. Likewise searching in AFC...GH2 seems better at it. But the amazing ability to shoot in low light is worth the purchase. I'm a believer.

It works great but
It works great, but in needs the Play Memories option to work. It will not do what my A6300 will do and that is a shame.

Best bang for your buck!
I have been using this camera for a couple of weeks now and it has not disappointed. I did add a generic extension to the bottom as I have large hands and the body left my pinky hanging off the bottom. That is really my only complaint but it's easily fix with several options available. Thank you Sony for not holding back features that matter to protect your other higher end cameras. Continue in this value for your money product offerings and you will have a customer for life.

Great Camera
Great upgrade from an A6500. Has pretty much all the A6500 features plus some from the A9 and A7RIII. Really a great camera. I used to rent a camera when I was doing Night Photography and now I have everything all in one body.

Awesome screen in sun, battery life, and touch operation
There is so much to like about this camera. I have the a7sii and a7rii and bought this to replace my a7sii mostly because of the touchscreen. Most of my work is on a gimbal and being able to control focus on the a7sii has always driven me crazy. Additionally, being able to actually see the monitor outside in sunlight is a big plus. And the battery life is fantastic. No more having to swap out batteries every 15 minutes.

Just incredible
The camera is just incredible. The Eye AF is a magical feature and the way it tracks movement is impressive. Quality in low light is hard to believe, as well as the dynamic range. Battery lasts forever and body construction is solid. The cons are just little things compared with the quality of this camera. Yes, to charge the battery in camera is quite annoying, it's a problem that forced me to buy the charger. And the screen is not as good as we would like, but it's not bad. In summary, this camera is an awesome piece of technology.

Best 2K fullframe option as of May 2018
I have always been held back by the enormous Price wall of PRO DSLR, when Sony launched this camera, it blew away the competition in almost every aspect.

Love this camera. Value is unreal!
Have about a week with the camera and it's great. So much value for under $2k. Images are great so far. Done a little video and looks great. The customization and Sony menus are the tipping point for this camera. If you muscle through setting things us (still working on that) this is where it really is a jack-of-all-trades. So far matched up with GM 24-70 but know I know the body is staying, more glass to come.

Great full frame camera!!
I actually sold my A7RIII to offset this purchase. I just didn't need the 42MP. I love this camera...extremely fast focus, eye focus amazing, great low light performance, fast silent shutter, very customizable. Truly delighted with all aspects of this body.

This camera right here. This camera right here is a godsend. For anyone looking to upgrade to full frame and/or 4K, this camera is a definite go. My only issues with the camera are that you can't view both cards' info in playback. You can only view one card at a time and you have to dive into the playback menu to change which card to read since you can't add it to the My Menu tab. Great camera and works with all my aps-c lenses.
This was one piece of mis-information I had received. The camera DOES WORK with aps-c lenses. There is no vignetting, and color and everything else is awesome. There is a slightly smaller footprint for the photos, but they look just as good as the FF lens shots. If you have been waiting for FF lenses, don't wait. This camera is a step up, especially from the a6500 which I love and probably will keep.

My problems with the A7 III
The Sony A7III is an amazing camera. I would buy it again. Just about every time I use it, some of the results make me say wow. Doubtlessly you have heard the good stuff. Huge step forward
Ive been using the original A7 as my main camera (mostly for video.) It still gives me some nice images under ideal shooting conditions, but if the light is off or quick focus is required it is definitely showing its age. Better than any other A7 bodies I have used so far !
This review about the A7III body, rather that the lens. I don't use AF lenses so I have no idea about the lens. I have been using Sony A7 bodies since 2014. I have had original A7, A7II, A7sII, and I can confidently say that A7III has been the best body I have used so far. Low Light usage and FPS speed as advertised
After shooting 2,500 photos with this camera I feel comfortable giving a review! Heres what I really like: Low light capabilities, burst FPS speed, auto focus speed, in camera stabilization, cache size.
