Purchased this as a replacement for another brand that cost 3x as much. Use it exclusively for pastoral speaking at our church. Can't discern a difference in vocal quality from the more expensive other brand (mic does seem to be just a bit more sensitive - not a bad thing). Durability has been good so far. Love the ear band
I use this microphone to replace a lavaliere mic. I have stayed away from these headworn mics because of how they fit (or don't) around my ear, even thought they work much better than lavaliere mics. But I used this mic at a wedding and the rubber band made all the difference! Bought one for our Sunday morning church service and it works great, stays secure on my ear and I don't have to constantly re-adjust the fit. The only down side is the larger ball on the end compared to the countryman.

Pastor loves the Samson mic and everyone can hear him!
We have top of the line Countryman wireless mics and have wrestled with fitting them and also the sound output. New pastor had used a Samson SE50 mic before so I ordered one for him. It sounds great and it's easy to fit right and comfortable for the user. I just ordered another one for the associate pastor who tried it and really liked the feel of it as her ponytail kept knocking the Countryman out of alignment. And at half the price of the the Countryman it's a steal!

Good design - adequate sound
Elastic on earpiece is ingenious and works well so far. Mic is quite sensitive to sibilents and bass response is definitely not the equal of more expensive capsules. However, adequate for my purposes - amplifying speakers in a church auditorium plagued with room resonances and echo.

Great price for the quality.
Have used the Mic about 4 times and has performed as expected. It has been worn by a male and a female and both were able to adjust it for proper pickup. The cord attaches to the earpiece via a screw on, so no wiggling loose.

Great head mic
Great sound for the money. Perfect for recording voice in noisy environment. Only downside is, needs phantom power, so your options are limited as far as wireless or recording goes.
