Perfect MIDI Controller for my Home Studio

I got the Carbon 49 because it had an 8 pin MIDI out. Many controllers today are UBS only, and that won't work with all of my devices. I was a little concerned about UBS only power, but that works beautifully. The keyboard itself is elegantly simple. Easily accessible and intuitive controls let me access the parameters that I need (octave range, volume, pitch bend, modulation). I rarely need real-time controls, so not having a bunch of superfluou... Show Mores buttons makes this a simple unit to use. Keys are solid and responsive, the whole unit seems sturdy and durable, given it will get fairly light use and won't be transported often, if ever. Definitely a great value for the price, and given my rather minimal needs, this unit seems tailor-made for me.Show Less
