OWC / Other World Computing Envoy USB 3.0 SSD Enclosure for MacBook Air
Not able to use.
I picked up the OWC enclosure thinking it would house an OWC drive... it doesnt, it will only house Apple drives... I must replace the drive in my MBP with the OWC drive and then use the MBP drive with the OWC enclosure. I feel stupid for not understanding that nuance. Not anyones fault, certainly not B&Hs, but regardless, I paid for an expensive enclosure that is unusable at the moment.

Worked perfectly
I spilled a glass of water on my macbook pro and zapped it. The techs at Apple were able to remove the hard drive. Using the Envoy pro is was simple to install the hard drive. The system now functions as a remote drive with all the applications working on my new mac as if they were on the native drive.

It works!
This OWC ENVOY worked great with the hard drive from my MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012) and was out of stock at the manufacture's web site. Thanks to B&H, I did not need to wait long to finish my project.

SSD for external use
I have 2 of these. 1 when I updated the drive and one when I got rid of an old MacBook. In both cases I ended up with external SSDs...quiet, nothing to break, portable. Great product

Good if you need your data right now
Lightweight, easy installation and voila, the ssd from your macbook pro is ready to use. especially in my case when my macbook was accidentally broken.
