My daughter loves it!
I always read the product review. I pay attention to the information that this product is small, and I was looking for a gift for my 12-year-old daughter - that's why it's hard to find the perfect product. Headphones are just perfect for her, but I think people looking for normal adult handsets would also be happy. And the sound is sensational. Even the husband (he is still looking for good home audio equipment) found that it is a strong product, the sound is very good. I recommend this product.

Wow!
I bought these to take on a flight to better enjoy the in-flight entertainment. I'm not a sound system 'buff', but to me they seemed excellent. Lightweight, comfortable and nice to look at - they gave a great 3D sound effect. Once, I thought there was a commotion behind me on the aircraft, only to discover it was the 3D sound from my earphones!!!!!!!!!! I have nothing else to compare these with apart from the complimentary ear phones you get from the airline companies - these were 2000% better!

Not worth it
Whilst I don't expect these to be noise cancelling, the music leaks out too much, even at low volumes. Also it's uncomfortable to keep on, after 15 mins my ears start hurting. When I went to return the item, I was told they'd have to tested it & I was told nothing is wrong. Tried explaining the volume levels in the store & when I'm simply using it in the library or my room aren't the same, so its not exactly a fair comparison. But the person wasn't convinced & uninterested in hearing anymore.

Headphones looks and feels good
Philips SHL3070 has a decent sound quality , as same as overall build up seems to be done out of quality materials , Except from cord which seems not gonna last long if item will be used on daily basis ,as it is very thin. Soft enough ear shells makes wearing it comfortable. Sound and bass quality are acceptable and are nothing more to be expected from this range of headphones . Designed to be able to be adjusted in sizes and position of ear shells . Glossy-matte finish makes it look great .

Product perhaps not so good
Bought this for my 12 year old daughter for school music lessons and personal use. She loved it as the sound quality met her needs. 2 weeks later the product developed a fault with one ear cutting out intermittently and for prolonged periods. The rubber around the jack also developed a cut. My wife took it back to the store for an exchange or refund and a store assistant said it would not be changed due to "bad use". She would not exchange it and directed her to customer services online.

Best set of headphones your need in Quality
These Philips headphones have great sound, Bass, Mid, Treb are all very accurate well balanced stereo sounding I use them for dj work, studio music production I've not found better set headphones that has great low frequencies (Bass) that's well balanced I would rate them higher then most expensive headphones for the price including beats They just have everything only issue was the small stereo plug on the end of the lead But that's nothing , you won't be disappointed

Fantastic headphones
I didn't expect much for just under £20, but I am very pleasantly surprised! The bass response is really good, without adversely affecting the higher ranges, and the sound quality is excellent for the price. I bought these for wearing at work as a painter and decorator, so won't worry about getting them spattered for the cost! I have an expensive set for listening to music at home, and the Philips phones are quite good in comparison - I thoroughly recommend them!

Superb sound quality
I originally bought these to use when out walking the dog but having came to the end of my tether with a pair of wireless Sony headphones that I used with my PlayStation I started using these instead. The sound quality is better than the expensive Sony ones I was using, good bass but not too loud that it drowns out everything else. They do get a little hot around your ears after a few hours but aside from that, an excellent pair of headphones.

Fit too tightly!
After looking at many others, I decided to go for this but am sorry to say I returned it shortly after. It's such a shame because I was really keen on this. * The bass is good because the headphones are more cushioned than others (I've bought another Sony pair which is less cushioned). * However, the headband itself is too tightly fitting and my ears and side of head were painful afterwards (I don't have a big head!).

Like having your own disco in your ears
These headphones are great , there lightweight , comfy on the ears and have great sound , the bass on them is like being in a nightclub . As long as you don't have the music ridiculously loud as soon as there on your ears you can barely hear them from the outside unlike some headphones . They do feel a bit flimsy at first due to how light they are but very flexible and adjustable . Highly recommend .

My Brilliant Headphones
These Philips headphones are an absolute must, as an avid music lover getting the best sounding quality is a top priority and these headphones give amazing sound and with the enhanced bass gives me a great listening experience. I thoroughly enjoy using these headphones especially as they aren't too bulky and fit comfortably on my ears, which can often be a problem as a glasses wearer!

Good sound for the price
I’m picky with my headphones personally and every pair I buy seem to break within a month. Or you buy them and the sound quality isn’t what it promises. These are brilliant for sound - bass is good and crystal clear. Comfort wise, because I wear glasses, it’s not 100% and after a while with them on does get uncomfortable around the ears. Otherwise these are spot on

Sleek on-ear headphones
Stylish design. Not at all bulky or heavy to wear. Very easy to adjust and use. Surprised at how good the sound quality it. Clear, loud bass. Blocks outside sound relatively well. Compact design as they are flat folding so ideal for on the go. Comfort is good and the single wire is great as it does not tangle. Downsides - headphones feel a tad flimsy

Just Not For Me
The sound quality is amazing, I cant fault that but with this being my first pair of headphones as I have always used in ear I learnt that for me they was so uncomfortable....maybe I have sensitive ears, I just found them uncomfortable after a while, made my ears hurt. I took them back and got some in ear headphones from argos which I love :)

Looks good, sounds amazing, very comfy
This product feels amazing. They are so comfy and feel very light. The sound quality is very good and doesn't distort when on at loud volumes. They even fit my 18 month olds head which for watching tv at low level sounds is brilliant in public places. They look good on and off and don't slide about on your head.

On ear
My daughter chose these only because they are blue but has since gave them to me because they are on ear and not over ear, they leave her ears feeling sore , her words were "they feel like my ears are being squashed to my head ". Over ear would have been better. I dont wear them as much so im fine with them.

Does the job
Purchased to replace old work headphones as I do a lot of transcription. Bit too big for my liking but there seems to be very little option these days unless you specifically go to places catering for typists/transcribers and they seem to prefer in ear buds which I also dislike! As I said does the job!

My daughter ignores me...
I bought these for my daughter's birthday.. She loves them! They fit well, are comfortable and lightweight. Sound quality is good, as I found out while hammering on the window trying to get her attention as she was listening to My Chemical Romance.. So, while not good for me, it's great for her!

Disceiving Quality
Purchased this pair of headphones as they were in the "average" price range and claim to have great sound and comfortability. Sorry, sound was terrible, comfortability was not good ( if you had the headphones on and moved your head you woukd pick up a lot of outside noise). Item returned.

Cheap & Cheerful
Bought these as a gift for my Dad’s birthday. He’s very impressed at the sound quality & enjoys the bass amplification from this specific style. Nice clean & not showy appearance. They’re not for someone who’s really into sound quality, but they’re great for the price.

Amazing
Bought for my dad who has a hearing inpairment, he loves them and can hear through them quite clearly as loud as he likes without everyone around him being able to hear it too. Lovely colour(Navy) and style and a good size that makes it comfortable yet easy enough to transport.

Great sound quaility and comfortable
The headphones are advertised as being good on Bass, they are. They are also good across the audio spectrum and not loaded towards the Bass. These are excellent value too, light and comfortable. I bought these as a gift for someone, may well buy some for myself too.

Great bass, lacks volume performance and a wow.
I didnt realise the headrest was that flimsey of a plastic material for the price, I was more attracted via the colour - fits nicely around the ears however it does slip frequently; also, I have an afro so its no entirely as comfortable as I would have hoped.

Bought as replacement
Bought to replace Phillips headphones that were no longer available and had finally given up. Sadly these new ones were worse than the set we returned that had given up. Returned and bought Sony ones. Daughter very happy. Can't fault Argos service!
