Generally good, but still have some doubts
As one who has seen technology change throughout the ages, I have long brought to the so-called health club each morning some sort of personal entertainment that requires a headset of sorts. Very pleased
These work amazingly well at suppressing the noise from my HVAC system while napping. They replace a set of Phillips noise cancelling earphones which were much less effective and required that I keep my head perfectly still to avoid brushing the padding and adding noise. Audio Technica non-cancelling in-ear buds
No discernible difference when switched on, so I phoned the helpline and left a msg for them to return my call "as all the operators were busy" That was a week ago. After getting no response, I returned the headphones and got my money back from Argos with no quibble. Coincidentally, I received a call back from AT today - I think that is 9 days after placing my call to their help line. Make your own minds up about this company, I know I have

Lasted a little after warranty period
Purchased this headphone in April 2017, and after one year warranty ended, the clip has split apart at the base. I use this on my train ride to/from work, so it is under normal use. The noise cancellation feature is also not working as good as before, even though the environment has not changed and I have replaced the batteries twice. Very disappointing that for the price, it basically only last a little over a year.

Great for long haul flights
I bought these to use on long haul flights and found them to be excellent for that purpose, On a budget trans Atlantic flight they cut out the loud drone of the engines and air con allowing for either peacful sleep or clear sound from the aircraft entertainment system. The small size is excellent to slip into a shirt pocket and one battery lasted both the outbound and inbound flights and is still going.

Mic Snags On Your Collar
I have been using these headphones with my iPhone 6S, and the noise cancelled feature works OK. The issue is the design of the mic -- it snags on my jacket and collar when I turn my head because the edges are squared, not rounded. It snags so much that the ear piece will come off my left ear. So if you wear collared shirts or use a jacket with a collar a lot, beware of this feature.

Not what I expected
I do not know if the piece was faulty or what but I did not notice any difference in normal and noise cancelling mode!! I bought these pieces specifically for noise cancelling but it was not as I expected. I already have Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones that works extremely good but was looking for something earphone style (something small size).

Sleep on a plane?
Definite drop in background noise when switched on, whether it's enough to let me get some sleep on a plane remains to be seen. Cable lengths seem OK to me, I usually put my MP3 player in my shirt pocket, the control box clips on there as well. Needs to be treated with reasonable care, but I wouldn't say it was flimsy.

Excellent Product
I bought these to replace my 7 year old pair that broke. I tried headphones, but they made my ears hot. In ear is much more comfortable for me. Perfect for all my commercial flights as it cuts out the aircraft noise. Also comes with an adapt for the aircraft sound system. Recommended.

Audio Technical ANC 33iS Headphones
These headphones are excellent in terms of sound quality and price. On a recent flight I found they reduced the background noise significantly. This was in part due to the Comply foam ear tips supplied with the headphones.

Does what it needs to do !
As a racetrack marshal these blockout the noise and have a great sound when connected to my walkie talkie, only downside is that they seem to be a little flimsy in the build quality department Only time will tell.....

great headphones for traveling
Wife and I have a pair that we always use while traveling...they cut out airplane noise and are very comfortable. Bought several this Christmas for friends and relatives and I know they'll love them like we do.

Background noise almost elliminated
Once the correct ear pieces used the reduction in background noise is impressive. Sound quality excellent on my iPhone. Cables are relatively short and control unit can be clipped to clothing / pocket.

Great for the price
I bought this primarily for long flights and the sound-cancelling works pretty well. The sound isn't exceptional but it's nonetheless very good for the the price.

Noise cancellation is great - they could look a little more premium as they seem a little 'plasticy'.
