Great value!

Sep 6, 2017

I bought these for home recording and to replace my typical headphones. My first few experiences using these are very positive. A much fuller and cleaner sound and excellent ambient noise cancelling. The only minor drawback is that they can be a bit uncomfortable after and extended period of use, as they fix themselves tightly to your head.

Very good closed back

Dec 25, 2016

I bought these headphones since I have the 681, which are semi-open back and I like them for enjoying music and also mixing. I needed a pair of closed headphones so I chose these for no particular reason except that I liked the shape on the 681, which is the same on this ones. I use them mainly for tracking voices and acoustic guitars, and for that they work great, very comfortable, extremly light but also with a good clamp that isolates enough... Show More

Nice Headphones !

Dec 2, 2016

These headphones are more in the top end instead of high-end,thats were the sennheiser 800s are. Nice looking headphones Nice ear pads and even the other ones that come with it. Nice Quality Good for mixing and producing at night. The only problem is it's just that headphones little tight, maybe because They just came out of the box. Definitely Recommended.

For the price a killer headphone !

Oct 19, 2016

I got caught by the white design and read a lot of comparisons and some reviews in websites so I had some quite good pre-opinion and some doubts. However once I got them I have been a lot surprised! They sound really great and even flat for the price! If one wants to mod this pair of can there are a very simple ones online, just google it, for slightly lowering the highs and make the low-end more cohesive with the midrange, they say, ... Excelent for this price!

Sep 12, 2016

I was looking for cheap studio headphones to record instruments and to work with electronic music. This is right what I needed. There is no cons for this price, I am fully satisfied. If you need to record your music with really good sound but cannot afford a big price- this is your choice.

Perfect for my clients

Aug 31, 2016

Bought a black and white pair from Thomann. It's perfect for recording vocals. The fit is nice and the sound is very good. The main thing is that in a studio where you have a lot of clients and movement and the fact that I don't have to worry to much about very expensive headphones the way clients handle stuff, this is perfect! They look cool and with two different lengths of cables and extra earpads, this is a no brainer ! I'm very satisfied and so are my clients! Thanks Thomann.

Low cost richness

Aug 22, 2016

These headphones seem a closed back version of the HD-681 Evo, with some differences: - Although almost identical physically, the fit is tighter: specifications state that caliper pressure is 7,5 N versus 3,5 N of HD-681 Evo; - Softer ear pads; - Earcups can only tilt up and down: the HD-681 Evo has fully articulated earcups; - Sound feels even more captivating, but it's a subtle difference. The things I like or don't like are the... Show More
