Better than the old one.
Bought this to replace my 10 year old MS optical mouse. The two extra buttons are nice. The mouse feels nice after a little getting used to, as it is lighter and more sensitive than my old mouse. I got this mouse on sale and the fact that it works on any surface even glass is a bonus. If I had one thing to nit pick, it would be the foot pads on the mouse. They're not rubber and transmit more NVH through the mouse as you drag it.

Best Mouse?
I like wired mice. This is one of the best. It has the expected 3 button configuration (left, right & wheel) and the additional 2 buttons along the left edge (for thumb operation) for moving forwards/backwards on pages that support that kind of movement (usually in a browser). My last MS Mouse, an MS Intellimouse Explorer lasted about 10 years!!!

Best Mouse and Cheapest!
This is the only mouse I will ever use. So glad Microsoft decided to relaunch it after many years, where I had to source really hard to find it. B&H had the best price, even less than eBay Australia, even with shipping. Worth the wait! Processing my order was quite prompt as I received the mouse earlier than anticipated. Thx.

Excellent mouse, the old style but improved
Anyone that liked the classic IntelliMouse from the 1990s and early 2000s will love this mouse. Great ergonomic feel, and they added two side buttons that by default act as forward and back buttons for your web browser. If you want to change their behavior there is free software you can install from Microsoft to do so.

Does just what it says it will do: Frankly, I was using an Addesso Wireless that was literally eating batteries _ I was going thru them every week and sometime more. I always loved the intellimouse so this mouse ia great
