image is great, sound not so much
I purchased this primarily for the camera function and found it to be great, the auto focus works well and the image is wider than the webcam that came with my computer, also looks great. I was hoping the sound would be adequate so I wouldn't have to get a mic but unfortunately it is very harsh and poor quality. It's not bad enough that I would return the webcam but something to consider!

Nice little webcam
We are using these for conference calls where several people are involved and at remote offices. Works very well and very easy to configure. Currently using it with WebEx and Cisco Jabber, but I am sure it could be used effectively with other software solutions. Overall a great product at a fair price.

Great deal!
Love it! Very easy to setup and use - especially for the novice. Skype renders better (clear/realtime) video vs. Logitech's indigent software. Doesn't clip well to older/flat desktop monitor - but perfect on laptop.

Great way to see family and friends!
Expecting a new grand baby in February. Now we'll be able to see the baby in real time. No complaints. So easy to set up and use.

C525 HD Webcam Review
I bought two webcams - one for my family and one for my in-laws, who are in their mid 80's. The setup was very easy and the quality is excellent on my end. My in-laws have DSL so I probably need to tweak some settings the next time I visit since the video is not that great. My father in law has a brother, also in his 80s, who bought a webcam of his own when he found out his brother received one. Now they Skype every morning. The perfect gift.
