A Good Budget Headset
This is an excellent headset for the price. Firstly the sound quality isn’t the best but it’s definitely above average, and I’ve used it for numerous games and haven’t found an issue. The headset itself is comfy and I’ve not had any issues with the headband or ear cups digging in during prolonged wear. It connects well to the PS4 controller via the headphone jack on the bottom, it’s connects well and I’ve haven’t as yet managed to snag it. The wire is of good length and has controls on it.

Low price headset from high-end manufacturer
Turtle Beach make top headphones, with a higher price than this, so you are buying from a good name. Bought for PS4 - top stuff * Void large enough to hold ears with no pain after long sessions * Padding far more effective than others I have used - external sound is significantly muted * Mic pulls out if you aren't using it * Controller has volume wheel and mic on/off In terms of sound you aren't getting real heavy bass sounds, but to be expected for the price - definitely fine quality

Just what was needed
A good quality, lightweight &comfortable headset 4use with the PS4 that fit everyone snugly (not all at once, that would be weird) A removeable mic so when your not in the mood just detach the arm (just remember where you put it) The cord length isnt bad, Ive often been tangled up but never with these &a vol wheel means no more changing the vol through the menu The only problem Ive had is when people in the room try talk to me they have to nudge me because I can't hear what they say

Great headphones, Great service from Argos
I needed to buy a new headset to help me with my online English teaching classes and to play some games with. After a little bit of looking I chose these headphones; The build quality is great, the sound is very good, perfect for talking with your friends/students online and are very comfortable to wear as they aren’t heavy on your ears, so no dull pain after an prolonged use. Great service from Argos- I paid online and and thanks to fast track in store, I had them home in under an hour!

Great for PC Gaming!
The Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50P headset is great for consoles, PCs, mobile devices and other devices with an auxiliary port. The sound quality of the Headphones is great creating a great gameplay experience or music chillout session. One of the things I love about this headset is that when you play a game, it is very good at distinguishing where the sound came from, as it has amazing surround sound. The mic is also great for chatting and the headset is comfortable, but can get tiring.

Not for PC
I bought these for my PC as the headset I had was very poor. I have to say these are very good for the price, but be aware that to use on nearly all PC's you will have to buy a female to 2 male 3.5mm splitter as these say PC but you can't use the mic without a splitter. No big deal but I could not find one on the high street and took a week to get one from an on-line supplier. Once that came I was impressed with them but Argos could make it clear this is the case and sell the splitter!

Great value for money headset
I bought these to replace a headset that broke, they are excellent value for money, good sound, I use them for talking to my friends on line which they all say I am clear to them when I speak. I have used them to play games and the sound seems clear to me, I have worn them for hours without too much discomfort.The mic can be removed but I just move it to one side if I am not on line with my friends. Overall I would recommend these headset which in my opinion are great value for money.

No need to spend more!
Daughter is really pleased, bought to replace the in ear freebie inc. with PS4, which we thought were dodgy, turns out there are settings to enable mic. and chat etc, not only on the console but on the games also. We thought this headset was broken too! Turns out they are perfect for the job, super comfy with good mic. Just make sure you check all the audio/chat settings on console and game before you return to store! She is now happily chatting to her friends while on MInecraft.

Fantastic replacement headset.
I bought this headset for my son as a replacement for one that I stood on (repeatedly told not to leave it on the floor, deaf ears ha). He wanted the exact same one as before just in a different colour. That in itself says it all as it was for his birthday and could have chosen any headset, no price limit. At Just less than £30 this is an absolute bargain. Only problem is, I never see my child anymore as he's obsessed. Great product, would definitely recommend to everyone.

Really good!
As it was only a jack rather than a USB I was a little confused at first on how it would work as my old headset had more cables. I plugged it in as per the instructions and it worked right away. The only thing I had to mess with is the sound levels as I had to press the assessory sound up on my pad as well as the mic otherwise the game volume was none existent. Once figured out as it was not in the manual, it works a treat. Really good value for money. Recommend to any gamer.

Dreadfully quiet...
Awful headset. Have always been a fan of Turtle Beach and thought I would give these a try. The sound was unbelievably quiet for what I'm used to, to the point I called Argos and asked them for a refund which they refused as I had opened and tested them. Not wise ordering products online when you cannot check them out. Stuck with a useless headset. If I have to put some positives here, then, they are very comfortable and that's all I can say. Avoid if you're a sound fan.

These head sets are better for Xbox not PS4.
Do buy this if your child has an Xbox one like my son, there absolutely fine,but my youngest has a PS4 and the connection on the head set is lose wen plugging it into the controller! I’m not the first to notice this also a lot of family and friends have said this. When there child is online they can’t hear there friends and it’s the connection on the headset that’s lose goin into the controller! If I wasn’t for my friends telling me I would have never know.

Great headset for the price.
I bought these for use with my ps4. The build quality is nice, they are solid feeling. They do however feel a bit stiff and don't seem to position themselves too well on my head/ear, not that they don't fit, just don't feel as comfy as they should. Great thing about these headphones is they fit your ears so snug, I cant hear anything outside of my games... Nice to avoid the cat meowing or gf's YouTube videos. Overall, they are very recommended for the price.

Worth the money
Good value headset for the price it's being sold at, Microphone and sound quality are really good and acceptable. However, the headset does have a bit of bass and sometimes may sound a bit muffuled. But in games the sound signature it has is perfect for identifying players in game. Also sweaty ears can be an issue if worn for long peroids of time. Usuallu my ears can become a bit sweaty after an hour. Isn't a big issue for me but something worth mentioning.

Super gaming solution
I bought two of these units for use in the household and combined them with an Xbox adaptor (necessary if you want the connectivity to be easier to achieve and functional). It’s a great unit, comfortable to wear - like others I’ve used do get a little warm after wearing them for longer periods - and lightweight. Very practical with good connection and sound quality both ways. A recognised brand with good value. A super solution, especially for the kids.

Perfect purchase
For me personally, these are the greatest headphones I’ve ever owned. I was born partially deaf so I need headphones that block out outside noise so I can focus on sound, these do that. I also use these headphones outside of gaming as general headphones because the mic can physically detach. Mic quality is great too. Second time I bought this model and I only needed to buy another one after 3 years because of accidental damage to my old pair.

All works so far!
So far so good although I said that about my son's xbox made headset that we originally bought from Argos and then had to return a month later as the mic went. We then spent the next 8 months returning them and getting a new pair until, eventually, they discontinued them and we chose these instead. Obviously not Argos's fault and they were great replacing the broken ones without an issue - but hopefully we won't have the same issue with these!!

The headset itself works well
The headset arrived without the removable mic in the box ;(which was extremely difficult to open and was torn in the process.). I had to tape the box up before I could return the item for replacement. This is why I would not recommend this item to a friend as Turtle Beach clearly do not have any sort of quality control and whilst the item was replaced and works well, I still would not want a friend to have this uneccessary inconvenience.

Exceptional Audio
Wow what a headset!! The Audio is outstanding and clear making it easy to hear the enemy sneaking up on you in fps. One of the great things about this headset is the ability to remove the microphone and use it as headphones for a tablet or mobile phone. This also works as a headset with Mic for PC!! This is an excellent bit of kit for the price. The only downside is that the headband could do with more padding. 5 Star's

Great Value
Bought for my sons 6th Birthday and he loves them, says he feels like a ‘real gamer’ while wearing them. I’ve tested them and they make for really immersive game play, the sound quality is excellent and speaking with friends on them is so much clearer than the old pair he had. Really impressed with this product considering the low price and will definitely be buying more then these ones reach the end of the road.

Brilliant and great Price
Great price and great quality. Impressed with the sound quality on this Headset can go very loud yet still retain it's quality and is also a nice comfortable fit. Had one for a while myself, bought another for my Brother. Sometimes you don't need to overspend on this sort of thing, especially if you're just a casual gamer like me. If you want a good quality headset but still cheap and reliable get this one!

cheap product- cheap material
The item itself was a nice a design however, the materials used to create the headphones were cheap quality. However, can't expect anything amazing praying that price. The microphone slot began to malfunction within a week, as well as it picking up mobile phone and Ariel signals, even when no mobile phones were present. I think I'll invest more into a headset than buying a cheap product like this.

Bargain
Bought these to accompany my new Xbox1 as when playing at night, the wife gets a bit upset when the floorboards are shaking due the noise level. These diamonds have sorted that. Extremely comfortable and the sound from what I'd class as a bargain buy cannot be faulted. Would possibly like a bit more volume during game play and maybe more surround noise. Well recommended if you don't want to spend big

awful aux cord is faulty
I bought these because of the great reviews but when I took it home the aux cord was faulty so I took them back and got a new pair for free and the same problem again with the aux being faulty! By this time the warranty had run out due to me not having the time to take them back so now am stuck with a pair of headphones were you have to spin the aux in the pad for atleast 1 war cup yoninly work!
