Great Media
Great photo paper. Prints like a champ on the DS40. If you buy this media pack for the DS40, you have to have spool extenders. I was unaware of this when I ordered and had to wait for the extenders to come in before I could use it.

Spectacular printer
The DS620A is amazing. I've used it at two events so far with the 5x7 media. The print quality is outstanding and it's incredibly fast. Faster than my assistant could send prints to it. Beautiful prints!
I have used almost half of the roll after a huge event. I have not had one single problem. No hang ups, no misdeeds, no jams, and the prints are absolutely beautiful!

Product Delivered
Used this for my first live, on-site, printing job - The product delivered in everyday I needed it to - Prints were fast and high quality. My only issue with the general product is that the paper that you order for it comes with DNP on the back. Wish this was not the case.

Great Paper
Love this paper, the gloss finish is amazing. I use this to print 4x6 event photos and Photo Booth events. What a great combination or printer and paper and at .$ cents a print its cheeper than @ at .$ cents per print so why pay more, event with labor you still don't have to drive to @ and wait in line to pick up your prints. Do it at home.

First order of 8x12
Ordered 8x12 paper this time. Will be able to print 4x8 Christmas cards 3 on a sheet in stead of 2 on a sheet. Also will be offering 8x12 Calendar pictures and collages.

Good Quality, Price Ehhh not so much
The quality is good, but the price I feel is a bit expensive. I operate a photo booth and use this DNP 620A as my printer. I do get a lot out of the two rolls that come in the box. I do waste quite a bit of paper though but I think that is the printer and not so much the paper.

Awesome paper and awesome service

DNP DS-40 Printer Media
I use the DNP DS-40 Printers for my event business. I have received several rolls that were bent which makes them very difficult to load on the spools and if not perfectly fit they will not work. Most of the recent rolls have been packed better but still need to have a cardboard insert inside the roll to prevent the bending.

Excellent printer for home
Printing pictures at home up to 8x12 in size. It is very easy to use and don't have to worry about inks. The paper is high quality and satisfactory but not exotic. Driver is good but the icc profiles do not match a calibrated monitor. They are no where close. I am still trying to figure out how to match them, even with a colormunki photo calibration kit. Good, but could improve.
Used the Olympus P400 and then Sony UP-DR80 before this dye sub printer. Generally, the colors are excellent and the glossy and matte options very convenient. However, the Sony had much richer blacks and black & white images had neutral grays, whereas the DNP-DS80 look toned and have a color cast. After printing hundreds of 8x10, we did run into 2 rolls that were defective and created color scratches mid-roll. We order this product annually and by the time we encountered the problem, we were told any warranty or return had expired. It's a bit noisy, but the noise is not unpleasant.

After some adjustment, great printer
The printer was easy to install on Win 8. The initial prints were horrible since we are accustomed to working with Epson inkjet printers. After a lot of tweaking and monitor adjustments, the prints are of professional quality. Excellent color depths however you do sacrifice whites due to paper emulsion not being as bright. Turn the printer on and it is ready within seconds. Prints come out in 30 seconds, cut and ready to deliver.

DNP DS-40 Printer Paper
The DNP printer is a step above the Snaplab printer. The upfront cost is more but you will save money with the paper in the long run. The quality of the prints is also a significant jump. The highlights are less likely, to wash out becoming muddy. Decent, but inconsistent quality
My husband and I have a small photo shop, and print pictures in 8x10 or 5x7 pretty frequently. Bought a box of this paper, and had no problems with the first roll- very good quality.
