Great Headphone Dac/Amp
Great looking unit. This amp is heavy at 11 lbs. indicative of a good power supply and runs very warm. It sounds very good out of the box but if you give it a few days burn in, the sound really opens up, has plenty of power, drove my Sennheiser HD600 at 300 ohms easily. Great DAC for the price
I currently use my iMac or iPad directly to this DAC with an AudioQuest Forest cable + a Grado RS2e headphones. I wish I have a stereo system with speakers which produce sounds wonderful like this. I can get lost in music for hours. Between this DAC versus Onkyo DP-X1A, it produces more power and slightly better. Over all Im very happy with this purchase at a great discount. Superb Product as a Great Price!
Musical and also high in resolution -- superb bass control, drive and articulation. 3D imaging and excellent low level resolution -- retrieving subtle info with ease. Great as a DAC and headphone amp -- has to be the best value in digital right now!
