Pricey but solid!
The price is an obvious drawback on this, but then again, most of Custom Brackets items are above what I'd consider fair market price. So moving from price to performance, this thing is solid. I've been getting back into film lately and needed some stability (monopod+head) in lower light. Pricy, but worth it
One of most well designed pieces of gear I have ever invested in. I use it for ring side (sports) photography and it is absolutely amazing for that purpose. I know Yuri Arcurs uses it for stock, but this thing rocks for sports. Completely unmatched. Be aware that the thing requires a little maintenance, primarily the monopod needs the screws tightened sometimes. The custom brackets unit keeps going.

Yuri Arcurs SteadyPod Basic for Manfrott
AMAZING piece of equipment, and PERFECT for sports photography! I had to order a second one because the quick release did not work on the first one. The plate was jammed in unevenly and would not release. The replacement was perfect, and although expensive, it was worth the price.
