Make sure you buy the right one.
Be carful when you buy this product because there is another one that is longer and straight. I personally prefer the curve one because it gives me better grip than the straight one.

Palm Grip
Used on a Custom Brackets QRS-E2 It does it's job BUT I had to do some mods for it to work. I wish the QRS-E2 was set up at the factory for the grip

Can't use it
I bought this after seeing Yuri Arcurs video with this and the Manfrotto Neotec monopod setup. After fumbling with the PRO-SV instructions, I was never able to attach the 'Palm Grip' attachement because the bracket's bottom hex screws are so tightly screwed-in I could not get it apart, nor did I want to force it on a $ niche bracket.Can't use it. Wasted money.

A necessary addition for Custom Bracket
If you have a heavy rig balanced on a monopod, this little grip provides a great way to maintain firm control on things.

part that works with the DIGITAL PRO-SV BRACKET w/CMP/QR you should buy this if you're getting that.

Great to have but not important
I am using this small gadget together with DIGITAL PRO-SV BRACKET. It is great to have it on the bracket it makes it even more easy to hold the whole stuff in your hand. But I do not think it is an important add-on. Well, it is cheap so why do not have it - it may help you more than it helped me! :)
