good concept, but it flexes
Very good concept, but lacks the stability that is needed when used on a tripod....the parts when put together allows quite a bit of flex, and makes my camera unstable.....I am not sure if I should use it in low light, because of the movements it allows, only if it doesn't flex, I will give it a 4 stars instead of the 3 stars, I like it, but the set backs I encounter, would stop me to recommending it to friends who wants stability with a tripod..... I bought this after seeing Yuri Arcurs video with this and the Manfrotto Neotec monopod setup. After fumbling with the PRO-SV instructions, I was never able to attach the 'Palm Grip' attachement because the bracket's bottom hex screws are so tightly screwed-in I could not get it apart, nor did I want to force it on a $ niche bracket.I spent one day out shooting street style photos with the PRO-SV on the neotec and have to say I hated it. Great but not really stable
I am using this product for studio work on top of a tripod and for field work on a monopod. The bracket allows you to switch between horizontal and vertical format with just one move of your hand. A must for events and weddings

Awesome piece of equipment!!
I recently bought a monopod. This additional piece of equipment helps me keep my camera centred on the monopod whether shooting in landscape or portrait mode, thus, increasing chances of the sharpest image possible. There is some assembly required, but overall, didn't take a lot of time to do and was relatively simple to figure out. It also adds a bit of bulkiness to your set up but worth it in my opinion. It works really well, and I would recommend it for anyone using a monopod, in particular. Happy shooting!

Great accessory for the fashion runway
I frequently use two lenses, the Canon 200mm f/2.8 and Canon 135mm f/2.0, for fashion runway shooting, but neither of these lenses came with a tripod mount ring. This bracket was the solution to my woes. Instead of tilting the camera onto one side of the monopod, this bracket allowed me to keep all the weight centred. Switching between landscape and portrait orientation is such a breeze with this accessory; no fumbling around with the ball head and missing vital shots!

good piece of gear
I was looking for a device that would allow me to rotate the camera from horizontal to vertical orientation without flopping the ball head over to the side and un-balancing the tripod. This item totally fits the bill. Not cheap, but well-made and works well. Also, it holds the camera very solidly. BTW, there's an Arca-Swiss plate that mounts on the bottom if you use that type of quick release system. If you need this kind of capability, it's a very good choice

great with a monopod
use with a monopod. had so much trouble changing to poitrait from landscape. no longer a problem. out of the box seemed a little light weight but so far works just as it's supposed to, even with 80-200 on my d300s with battery pack.. Delayed purchase for a time due to the cost but truly was money well spent. i am already very happy and it seems very well built so if it lasts long enough i will be totally satisfied. at this time i give this bracket 5 stars.

works well
I bought this so that I could mount the Digital Pro SV bracket by Custom Brackets on ballheads with Arca-Swiss type quick release systems. Took about 2 mins to replace the plate on the bottom of the bracket with this plate; all the hardware was included. For switching from horizontal to vertical while staying over the tripod's center-of-balance, this set-up works very nicely.

Excellent Tilt
This bracket is really fast and extremely sturdy. Some assembly required. Nothing too difficult, if you have a tripod or monopod that needs quick adjustment from landscape to portrait this is the answer to your problems. be sure to pick out a good head to lots of capability in your shots.

PRO-SV makes mobile shooting a breeze
I don't know how I got along without a pivoting bracket before. This one has a silky action that makes the shift from landscape to portrait smooth and non-jarring for your equipment. Combine it with a hand grip (purchased separately) for a truly stable platform.

solid piece of gear. once you attach you're pretty much committed to using a tripod or monopod - although there is quick release for taking camera off the mono/tri pod -which is good - the camera becomes quite heavy with the bracket attached when handholding.
