What Lovely Speakers!
What delightful little speakers! I can't stop using them. A good purchase. Sound quality alone is impressive. And finding the bass speakers in the back was a bonus. Bass from subwoofers often sound distant and fail to impress me. These ones though brought a warm and pleasant tone. What's more, being old school, the ability of actually touching a volume button lets you feel the music as you listen, so you find the speakers are that little bit more immersive and personal. So yes; I loved them!

Excellent for the price
In terms of function; these speakers are a very basic, decent sounding set. A single knob controls the on/off and volume. There isn't a headphone socket. They have speakers on the front, angled 45 degrees, to point toward you when placed on a desktop - and also have passive radiators on the back side to enhance sound further. The resulting sound is very crisp and clear, ideal for video, gaming, music, etc. Voices are crystal clear. Bass is ok. Loses quality at high volume, but still ok.

Decent budget computer speakers
Bought to replace VERY old Advent speakers, which had finally made their way to breaking point. Slightly larger than anticipated, but still a fairly compact size, and they can produce some fairly decent quality sound and volume. If you're looking for speakers to play your music through, these may be a bit small, but for general home use and the occasional music session, these do just fine. Easy to just plug in and use straight out of the box.

Impressive
They look more expensive than they are (chic design) easy to use, just plug and play. I wish I'd bought these to start, my previous set were twice as expensive and whilst there was a sub woofer, the design was cheap, the wires flimsy and it wasn't portable like these. Plus they run off USB so if the computer shuts down they do too. I love them!

Superb wee sound syste, however...
The speakers look and sound terrific. They are easy to unpack and plug into your machine. However, the USB connection wire is weak and unsable. The right speaker stopped working but after some jigging, the connection restablished. I wouldn't advise unplugging and using in more than one machine. The wire, in my opinion, will not survive.

Beyond expectations.
This has genuinely got to be the best twenty odd quid I have ever spent. These speakers are fantastic, especially when you consider the price point. Good quality construction with substantial weight for the size and a brilliant sound with great bass without being Woolley and over powering. Highly recommended purchase.

Absolutely brilliant
I've had these a few days now to go with my desktop PC. I love the sound of these and they look fantastic too, the sound is top notch, the bass is lovely too. They are surprisingly loud as well. Brilliant value for money, sound and look ten times their price tag. Go for these and you wont be disappointed. 10-10.

Great little speakers
These compact, stylish speakers have been an excellent addition to my desktop pc set up. Nicely balanced, clear sound quality for my requirements, principally viewing videos containing speech and/or background music. I like the ergonomics of the single, combined on/off volume knob. Recommended.

Nice looking speakers that sound good
These are great little speakers that have a good rich sound for a reasonable price. They are more attractive than the standard rectangular ones. We use them with our living room TV to improve overall experience. Would have liked an individual volume for each speaker but that is being picky.

Nice audio and look well on the office desk
Tidy little speaker setup. Simple USB and AUX connections for quick connectivity to your PC/Laptop/Phone etc. Volume adjustment knob which also turns the speakers on and off. Surprisingly good volume and audio quality for the size of the speakers.

Best USB speakers I have heard
I saw reviews on these and thought I'd give them a go on previous reviews. The reviews are true, they're only powered by USB but are loud enough to play music at a decent enough volume and there's no distortion. Very good for TV sound and speech/music

Awesome USB speakers
I bought these speakers to enhance the sound quality of my TV. The sound quality and volume are awesome. They also turn off when the TV powers down, so they don't consume electricity all day. These speakers are certainly something I would recommend.

Great Little Speakers
My old PC speakers finally gave up after 20 years and I was dubious about buying another set. No worries here as the Pebbles not only look good but sound really good. Not ear shattering loud but great for what I need. I'd recommend them no problem.

Works okay
Desk top speaker, works fine, quality okay for the price. Looks good., sounds fine for ordinary listening. Needs both USB and a sound connection (USB for power) on my PC. Make sure you have the enough of the right connectors on your PC / Laptop.

Small speakers for PC, iPhone etc.
Pleasant design, smooth black. Sound output good for such small speakers. Trebles clear sibilance, bass quite good. My small complaint is that the distance between left and right speaker is rather short for my setup. Otherwise fine.

Exactly what I wanted
Wanted some compact speakers for a new laptop but didn't want to spend a fortune. These are ideal and have excellent sound quality for the size, especially the bass. Playing music on the laptop now sounds better than a typical cd system.

Very good speakers
A great addition to the new computer I bought. Sound quality is very good, but cannot cope with VERY loud bass notes particularly well. For everyday activities on the computer these speakers will do anyone a fine job in my opinion.

smart and compact
very impressed with these speakers .sound quality is excellent using on my PC desktop. Good quality bass sound just what i needed as my new PC and monitor were a bit too much treble/tinny..would definitely recommend these

Speaker quality is excellent
Sound quality is very good and more than enough for a PC. Very easy to set up. You won`t find better quality for the money. Argos staff efficient and very helpful. All round a great purchase.

Looks lovely and easy to use
It's super easy to use for any laptop or desktop. Really intuitive and I wouldn't imagine anyone having difficulty setting it up. Only issue is the volume isn't as loud as I would have liked.

Performs excellent for the size
I bought these to replace a bigger pc sound system I was using after they broke. For the size of these speakers the sound is loud enough and produce some really rich audio. Excellent value

Great sound quality for the size
Amazing value for money. Sound quality is very good with no distortion at max volume. Great volume range and has a bit of bass. No individual bass or treble controls though.

Fantastic speakers
These are fantastic. A little bigger than I expected 'pebble speakers' to be but they pack out great sound and volume. Easy to use and setup and they look great too.
