I love the modular design of the power leads. It is sometimes confusing when swapping out the supply. Having to disconnect everything, removing the old supply and installing the new one while hopefully get everything right. With the Corsair modular design, I just pulled the plug off the board or card and inserted the modular Corsair plug in its place. Once the board, fans and peripherals are connected it is a simple matter to then plug into the power supply and mount it to the case!

Good Upgrade
Windows Preview Builds put some strain on my system and I needed to upgrade my power supply. We all know that Microsoft doesn't want a bad running computer and they don't do anything to degrade performance. They have tackled this in preview builds of Windows 10 and you are all welcome to dive right in. This Corsair power supply is a fine thing and running the onboard USB is where I can have multi-rail operation.

Excellent PSU, No Complaints
The HX850i has a tad bit more power than my system needs, but provides room for expansion if needed. No complaints and works like a charm. I also love the LINK software which provides me information about temps, voltage of not only the PSU, but my entire system. Definitely recommend if creating a higher end gaming or editing/graphics system.

runs without a hitch. other reviewers might have complained about the snugness of the 24 pin power connector but i simply plugged it in before putting my mobo in the case. took 10 min but being careful and moving it down one side then the other and not ogre handling it, it went in fine.

Simply worth the money in my mind
I love the USB link to the power supply and the monitoring and usage feed back. One of the most advanced PS I've owned and I love it! Powering my new Threadripper build like a champ

First time I ever purchased a platinum certified power supply. Everything is of the highest quality. Runs a lot more quiet than my old power supply.
