I am very satisfied with this product. I was a bit concerned buying a case without seeing how well it fit my hard drive. Good protection
This is probably as good as protection gets for a 2-1/2 inch USB drive. It is a cloth (nylon?) covered plastic case with a zipper on three edges. Apparently it was originally designed to take two parallel USB drives - at least it will accept them. That means it is longer than needed for modern serial drives, so just a little bulky. Peace of mind when traveling with a hard drive
Nice little case. Nothing super fancy, but it gives me peace of mind instead of putting the hard drive in my bag or in the side pocket of my laptop sleeve. I'm a photographer so keeping my files safe is a high priority. Would this protect my hard drive if I dropped it in the case into a puddle? ... Doubt it. Would it help if I accidentally dropped my backpack? Probably. It's not too expensive and seems helpful. It JUST fits my Porsche La Cie and the little USB cord.

Good solid case
I bought this for a portable hard drive which I move from home to work every day. It is made very firm, so it should protect the drive very well. I transport it inside another soft padded pack, because if I were to drop it, the shock would damage or destroy the drive. No hard drive should be dropped, even with good protection. The inside is equipped with an elastic strap to secure the drive and a mesh slot on the inside back cover for the cord. It works for me.

DOES WHAT IT SHOULD
This was my first hard hard drive case after trying to find something a bit more rugged than previous soft material cases. I like that it holds its shape well and can take a bit of banging/rolling around, not that Im planning on playing frisbee on the beach with it. It protects my external back-up drive and Ill continue to purchase them for my future drives/devices.

Perfect for my 1TB G-Drive Mobile External Hard Drive
When I bought my 1TB G-Drive External Hard Drive to store my Lightroom photos, I realized I needed a case for it. I looked at many different cases, but I ended up choosing this one for its small size and hard external skin. My 1TB G-Drive fits perfectly in it with the thunderbolt cable. I carry this in my camera bag along with my camera and lenses. Great product!

Taylor made for my WD 1tb WD Elements USB 3.0 External Drive
Not turtle hard but semi-hard, the WD 1tb WD Elements USB 3.0 External Drive, fits into the internal pocket of this Case, the other side of the case has a strap and the USB cord fits underneath perfectly. The protection is fine for home and travel, if the unit is going to be subject to hard knocks and bumps, then you may want the Turtle hard type cases.

Great case for mobile wireless router
Bought this for an AT&T Unite wireless router that we use when traveling. Primary need was a bright color so it was easy to spot - especially when picking up to leave. It handles the router and its cable brilliantly, but is a bit tight when we include the AC charging block (which can be left behind and use USB port on the computer to charge).

Tight But It Fits
Got these to keep my hard drive and battery chargers organized. Drive fits perfectly, chargers are tight depthwise. There is no padding, just a hard shell and somewhat flimsy but keeps the dust off of everything. If you are looking for protection from drops you may need to look elsewhere. Great for organization and to keep the dust out.

Simple Hard Drive Case
Very simple hard drive case. Excellent construction. Clamshell design; each side has a mesh pocket. I use one side for the hard drive and the other for connecting cables and a flash drive. Very durable --- I travel a lot and this gets tossed around and zipped frequently. Still looks new!

Good Portable Case
This case is good portable case for my WD portable hard drive. There are several suggestions that I would recommend. A lost for a business card and a ring to hook a cable on so as not to lose the case and hard drive if one is traveling. There is a nice pocket inside for the cable.

I love this case!
I know a case is a minor thing, but I really like this case. I use it with a G-Technology G-Drive Mobile USB Portable Hard Drive and it fits perfectly, with a place for the cable in the lid. It's semi-rigid, so it provides a measure of security to the drive as well.

Recommended Accessory
I purchased this case as an accessory for a 1Tb Western Digital external hard drive. The case it prefect to case the hard drive securely. Its also trim and sleek. I especially enjoy the red color, and can find my higher capacity drive easy with the red color.

Safe Passport
I picked this up for my Passport drive in order to protect it from other items in my bag. The case is compact, rigid and offers plenty of space for the drive and its cable. There is no way my drive would get damaged while in this sturdy well constructed case.

Excellent for storing G-Drives
Ive been using Case Logic cases for years to store back up G-Drives. Theyre perfect for that purpose. Ive also tried the Ruggard cases sold at B&H, but Case Logic is bit smaller so take less room. If your drive is a bit larger than a G-Drive, go with Ruggard.

Fits my Passport drive perfectly.
This case is a perfect fit for the WD Passport Ultra portable drive. It is made of heavy material and protects my drive very well. It also can accommodate the cables that are needed for the drive. If you buy a drive you really need to get this case.

Sturdy
Bought this to protect my WD portable hard drive during trasport. This fits the drive and usb cable perfectly and the case feels very sturdy. I'm still going to try very hard not to drop my HD, but the case still gives me a little peace of mind.

LOVE MY HARD DRIVE CASE

Good cases for the old and new WD drives
I use a couple of these cases for my WD Passport drives, incl the latest bit square one. They are are firm, but not solid. Keeps all the dust out while travelling. And I can store the cable in it too in a separate section.

Case nice... but too small!
Nice little case... too tight a fit for the Lacie Portable Mini Hard Drives...case will barely zipper up around the hard drive... no room to include cord attachments included with the hard drives... case too small.

Tight fit and a bit soft
B&H recommended this case to me when I bought the G Tech 4TB portable drive. It's a very tight fit and the case is a bit flimsy. I would have preferred something a bit stronger on the outside.

Durable & protective

Excellent protection for external disk
Recently bought this protection pouch. Rugged design, waterproof. Already I dropped bag from a height of 1.5 meters, and nothing happened. Disk like pouch is not scratched. Very pleased.
