Exceeds expectations
This product has exceeded my expectations. Upgrading from an EOS Rebel T3i, the improvement in hardware quality is astounding. This camera is incredibly capable and very smart as well, with its auto feature far outperforming any model around the same price. The ability to connect to the camera with your phone is also incredibly useful. Along with the camera came the SD card, which is fast and holds many photos, a nice case for lenses, and a photo-editing software similar to Lightroom. The price for all of this is very nice, and definitely worth it for these products.

Not compatible with non Canon flash accessories
I purchased this body as an upgrade from a Rebel T2i. The picture quality, screen display, shutter are all great. HOWEVER, buyer beware that if you are using a non-Canon flash, such as a Yongnuo Speedlite, you CANNOT use the flash when the live view mode (i.e. the display screen) is on. This is one of the only Canon models like this. The 70D and 80D are NOT like this. This camera does not have a function to turn off silent LV shoot therefore making it incompatible with flash accessories.

Had problems with 77D within a few days
Was purchased for wife for Christmas. Within a few days 77D had developed a problem where it immediately shut down. Screen and Menu buttons didn't work. Ended up cost $41 to send to Canon service where they found a microswitch with SD card was defective. Have since been repaired and back. Doing more test shots. Have owned 3 film bodies, have a 6D-Mk2 and own 8 lens 20-400mm and never a bit of trouble. Bit disappointed with this one.

Next level camera
I wanted a camera that would take me to the next level for my photography and this is the one I choose. The 77D is great, I love the way it takes photos, it has new features that I didn't have with my last camera and I am now learning new ways to take better photos.

Loving the image quality
Coming from a Canon background many years ago, and not having a DSLR around anymore I struggled with the camera and system I wanted to buy into. When it came down to it, I really liked how the 77D looks, feels and functions -- as well as a system that won't break the bank for future lens upgrades.

Awesome upgrade from Canon Reb
I upgraded from my Canon Rebel T3 which I have had for the past 8 years and really liked. I am 2 weeks in with my new EOS 77D and I am loving it! I have mainly been shooting bald eagles on the Mississippi and I love that this camera has a fast 6frames per second, something needed with catching birds in flight. I also like the touch sensor screen, and I am sure the more I use this camera the more I am going to like it!

Excellent camera
A major use for my camera is travel. I need a camera that is not too heavy yet is full-featured and produces sharp, well-exposed photos. I have been using the Canon SL2 but decided I needed a camera with a faster auto-focus system as I was missing too many shots due to bad focus. The 77D works just fine, and combined with my Tamron 18-400 lens it is highly capable camera for my purposes.

Great replacement for my Rebel T5 at a fabulous price
My T5 was stolen and I chose this to replace it. Great choice! Lots of upgrades, including wifi and Bluetooth, beautiful photos, and all of my lenses fit!

Just what I needed
I understand canon is discontinuing this camera, probably because it's so similar to the t1i. I however like this one a lot. It does everything I want it to. The price is far less than the full-frame cameras, but for my purposes which are mostly macro pictures of flowers for my own use, it is outstanding. I also appreciate the huge ISO , the lightweight frame, the lenses, which are much less expensive than the full-frame L series, and it takes great pictures, which is the whole point of the exercise. I have no need of the video feature, but it doesn't get in my way. Overall, I like it a lot.

I Love my new camera. I had a Canon Rebel T3i for almost 5 years and just wanted to start fresh with a new camera. Its very easy to use controls and interface is very user friendly & takes amazing picture. Definitely worth it!!

The camera is very good and seems to do everything it says it does (I haven't had a chance to give it a major workout yet). Dinging it half a star because the viewfinder is smaller (maybe 10%? not a lot, but noticeable) than on my old camera, a 60D, and because the manual is not as thorough as it could be. Best kit for the price
I changed from the canon 4000d to this kit, the canon 77D is the best camera Ive used so far, it has everything I need, from taking perfect stills to taking great video and cinematic looks, specially with the price that B&H provided me, i would recommend this to anyone that needs to upgrade their camera or to any new photographers/filmmakers, overall great kit!!

Typical Canon xxD in a smaller, lighter package.
I've owned just about every Canon EOS xxD from the 10D to the 80D. At 71, I was looking for a way to lighten my load and not give up much of the Canon features and image quality. The 77D isn't weather resistant but is easy to handle and carry, provides speed and excellent image quality in a lighter package. The only feature missing is microfocus adjustment which isn't really needed if I shoot from live view. I really like this camera and carry it every day. And, as with all cameras, if I do my part it produces beautiful images. A great camera.

Great Upgrade from 50D
Finally upgraded but didn't want to spend a grand. Also, wanted video capability. Very happy with photo and video quality. Able to get good quality video of aircraft using 400 F5.6L using a car window for a brace. Still running it through its paces but very happy so far.

Very nice dslr
I originally bought this a few years and dropped it in the river so I recently rebought it. Like any camera it has pluses and minuses. Compared to cameras like the D5600, d3500,etc I think the ergonomics are much better. Its better built, much more fun to use, its light, fairly inexpensive, and the kit lens is better. Great Camera for the Price
I started over two years ago with a Rebel T6 kit to shoot HS soccer games and band half time shows. It is Ok until it gets dark. I then bought a Tamron telephoto lens (f/2.8). That helped but the low ISO and FPS just wasn't enough. I rented a 6D Mark II from a local camera store. That camera was 100x better than mine. The price was out of my budget the this 77D is almost just as comparable but half the money. The pictures are crisp and sharp even zoomed way out and at night under the lights. 6 FPS (High burst) capture great action sequence shots.
