As a music and radio commercials producer, I want headphones that will transfer the quality of sound i'm used to in the studio to a headphones. At first i was a huge fan of bose speakers. Disappointing quality and warranty service

I chose these H9's over the Sony MDR1000x set mostly because of physical comfort--I wear glasses and the MDRs caused uncomfortable pressure on my temples. But in almost every other way, they are vastly superior. The noise canceling is much more advanced than the H9, the bluetooth connection is more reliable (automatically reconnects if you leave the room and come back), the sound is equivalent or better, the controls are better. Note* B&H is outstanding, no complaints there. On the other hand, B&O is a company I will never buy from again. The pros/cons of the H9s: Audio and build quality is superior. The noise cancelling is gentler than bose, and that is my preference as I am quite sensitive to the tone from bose/sony NC headphones. And being able to turn off NC is a great feature.
