Bright sounding mic.
I bought this mic for cheap$, mainly, because of the Audio Technica name. Because it's a lower end, corded microphone, I wasn't expecting much. I've since used it to mic my VOX amp in my home studio. I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness & crystal clarity of the ATR1100! It's an awesome mic, especially for the low price!

Great product.
This microphone, like all other Audio-Technica devices I own, is of extremely high quality. Vocals and acoustic instruments sound amazing though the Mic, although the signal output could be increased a little tiny bit. This device captures sound at an astonishingly clear and crisp level. Inexpensive yet fantastic, this Audio-Technica microphone is a very nice buy.

Perfect for My Application
This microphone is being used in an educational setting for a high school broadcast journalism class and is perfect for our students' needs, plus it is easy to use, durable, and compatible with our camcorders. And the low price fits our low educational budget!

Best microphone for the money!
For the money you won't find a better microphone! Much better quality and more features than a Sony microphone I was looking at and the price was so much better too. Comes with a 10' long cord and an on/off switch which some mic's do not have. You do have to speak directly in to the mic and have it close to your mouth for it to pick up sound but that is good as you then don't pick up alot of background noise or feedback. Would definately recommend this mic and would purchase again. Thank you!
