Wow. A must for modern day 4k video editing. Amazing.
I bought this with my brand new Imac 27 i7 4.2ghz to edit 4k video projects. I installed 2x 1tb Samsung SSD in a RAID 0. I backup to a local USB 3.0 drive, but work off of this drive. This thing rips. No lag whatsoever. Spinning hard drives are dead to me after using this well-made little device. 100% recommending to all of my peers.

Beast mode
I am using 2 2TB Crucial MX-500 SSDs and this thing is in best mode connected to my USB 3.1 Gen2. I am writing at 800MB/s and reading a bit over 900MB/s. I set this up in RAID 0, as I use it for 4K/8K video editing work. Well worth the price given the speeds you get and raid 0/1 options.

Works great
Using it with 2 Crucial 2 TB SSD's in mirroring mode for my Lightroom catalog and files while traveling. Had for about a month and it works great. Very fast. Took a little time to get into mirroring mode. After reading the instructions and pressing reset button everything worked.

Don't work with OWC SSD
If you are considering purchasing this product and have OWC SSDs, do not buy it, they are not compatible.
