Fantastic Gaming headset

Dec 3, 2015

This head set is a beast it is a bit pricey but as soon as you put it on you forget how much you paid cos your enjoying it so much. Sound quality can not be faulted preset 1 is for those foot steps in FPS games. But if you really want to be blown away then preset 3 is the one if u don't care about foot steps as much. You can still hear them really well, it's just preset 1 is a tiny bit clearer. Overall I would definitely buy this headset whether it be yr first or next in line from the last.

Expensive, but worth it

Jun 2, 2016

I'm not a Halo fanatic, but I bought this version because I love the way it looks verses other A50s currently out. The military styling really suits my taste. They are very comfortable to wear, even for long periods. My ears are on the big side, not massive, and they fit well inside the ear cups. The sound quality is extremely good. You can hear the bad guys, pretty much wherever they are, unlike many cheaper headsets.

I have to admit that this headset is the best sounding headset i have ever had, comfort is amazing, mic sound good, battery life is good to. Every thing about this headset is great, and build quality is night and day comparing to some other headsets on the market. It's a bit expensive, but worth the money if you spend lots of your time gaming.

Excellent headset

Jan 7, 2016

The a50s are worth every penny, the sound is second to none and over long gaming periods the a50 stay comfortable throughout. I'd recommend any of the a50 astro headsets, the halo edition is perfect for long time fans. I've had several headsets for pc ps4, such as the razer krakens, logitech and turtle beach but these definitely beat all.

A50 review

Best wireless headset I have used, as long as you are not expecting the same quality as the a40s you will be very happy. Really easy to set up just need to update the firmware and plug it in and your good to go. Haven't had any issue with battery as of yet, had a few 4 / 5 hr sessions and it was fine

not worth the money

Headset sound quality is ok but does suffer from crackling from the mic cable to the controller mic is terrible. Sounds like you are miles away from it when talking. No voice feedback so you dont know if your shouting literally have to eat mic to speak to people. Not worth the price tag.

Astro a50s

They sound phenomenal but there is an issue with the microphone when you are connecting to the xbox one via the included chat cable people say that they cannot hear you and it sounds like you are very distant.

Not as good turtle beach

I had the xp500's for the xbox 360 they gave great directional sound. With the Astro's although the sound quality is great the surround sound is vague at best.

Good choice

I got a pair of these for PC gaming, and the sound quality is extremely good, they are very comfortable, but the battery could be better.
