Given my specific usage requirement, I purchased the 2019 iPad AIR instead of the more expensive 2018 iPad Pro. Perfect for my needs
I choose the 256GB version of this iPad over the older 2017 10.5 iPad Pro for a few reasons; - Newer/Faster A12 processor. - Slightly cheaper - Supports the Logitech Crayon (2017 10.5 iPad Pro does not). I also have the 1st gen Apple pencil so I'm not going to invest at this time in a 2nd gen Apple pencil. - I mostly use headphones (true wireless earbuds and wired at times) so the lack of quad speakers was not a big issue for me. A excellent iPad but not a major upgrade over the 5th Gen
Bought it on sale as spare to my 2017 5th generation iPad.It has a faster chips but in most applications it is unnoticeable.It had double the storage (256GB Vs 128GB) but the same 3GB RAM. Somewhat better colors and increased touch sensitivity.Not important for me was the much better front camera and compatibility with the first Gen Apple Stylus. Unlike for the 5th Gen, T-Mobile no longer provides a monthly free 200MB promotional LTE data plan for the life of the iPad. The iPad is very slippery so I highly recommend to buy for it a thin flexible soft rubber silicone gel skin cover.

Very nice
Bought this for my wife, to replace her iPad Air 1. Screen is noticeably larger and nicer. The true tone color correction feature is great. Would have been perfect if Apple had decided to make this model with four speakers instead of two. I guess they expect you to plunk down another $300 for the pro version to get that, which I was not going to do. Regardless, it's a very nice tablet sold at a reasonable price. I think it's the better way to go vs. their base model given the larger, better screen and the 64 GB of storage that comes with it.

iPad their is simply no better tablet
I have the a 1st. Gen. iPad Pro and this air3 is for my wife. Our phones are android which may seem strange to some people but its what we like. You see we have 11 year twin girls who live in Sacramento and we live in Phoenix they moved their 3 years ago. My wife loves helping them with homework. Love it!
I have for years had iPad Air and its fantastic! So now when my old one fall out off my very pricey and exclusive case, and broke down, I only wanted a new iPad Air. This is much better, so clear screen and bigger than my old one! Enormous storage space and the camera is great! Now I also ordered a OtterBox case, si my iPad will be totally safe. A Pretty Big Screen
I am in college and wanted to get an iPad for several of my classes. I settled with this iPad Air 3. The screen is larger than expected when it's in my hands. This iPad is the same height and width as the iPad 7th generation, and I have sometimes wished I had purchased that one. If you are wanting to have that extra bit of screen, you can go with this one. But if not you could consider the 7th generation iPad.

new iPad Air (2019)
its pretty close to awesome now .. maybe one or more IOS updates and this can be a real replacement to my laptop now.. did some extensive video editing using iMovie and it was actually a very good experience ... typed up some documents (had a Bluetooth keyboard paired with it) and did some other usual stuff ... and of course multimedia use where it of course excel.... all in all a very good device

So fast
I forget the model of my old iPad but I believe I got it in 2012 so there have been a lot of improvements since then.This one is so much thinner and lighter and the screen looks great, but the biggest difference I noticed is that it is so much faster. Webpages load so quickly and never crash like they did on my old one. Very satisfied! Of course, I got a case and a screen cover for it.

Great for on the go surfing
So far so good....the only con I have right now is that I just got a new iPhone that has no home button and didnt think I would like the face recognition and swiping.... but I got used to it and I wish this new iPad Air had that this year....Im sure its coming but I couldnt wait....other than that its all good. Perfect size screen for on the go.

Terrific iPad upgrade
I have owned almost every version of the Apple iPad from the original to a 2018 9.7 one and an iPad Pro. This one seems to be very fast, great battery life and a great 10.5 screen. It is easily my favorite now. It works well with my first generation Apple Pencil. It was a nice compromise between the base 9.7 iPad and the iPad Pro.

Great choice
This model has the power, size, and weight that was just right. I use it in a corporate photo booth and the other users like it as well. I especially like that even though it is a fairly new model there were already tons of cases and accessories to choose from since it fits the same as the older 10.5 iPad Pro.

Good iPad
This is a nice balance between the basic iPad and iPad Pro. Gives you a better processor and capabilities than the basic iPad and the storage but doesnt cost nearly 1000$ like the iPad Pro. Also having the cellular capabilities helps when you travel and cant rely on getting a stable and secure WiFi.

Nice Mid-Range iPad
Replaced a 2017 ipad. A definite improvement. Also wanted cellular and this fit the bill. Compared to the iPad pro, not much compromise for me, but then I'm not a super techie. Thanks to BH I got it at a great deal and the price even dropped a bit more as of the time of this review.

My favorite iPad
I own almost every version of iPad ever made and this one is probably my favorite of the lot. It is a great size, has a terrific screen and is fast. It is a bit more expensive than the standard iPad but if you do not need all the features of the iPad Pro, it is a nice middle tablet.

Excellent Product
My last iPad was an iPad Mini 2. This is a vast improvement. I opted for the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, both of which pair nicely with the Air. The Air is extremely fast and screen size is plenty big. I received my order on time and everything works great.

Difficult to get Apple Care after purchase
The I Pad is great and so was the price, but when I tried two get AppleCare from Apple, I found the unit had been registered more than 6 months before I got it at B&H and had to go through a lot oof hassle to get Apple to straighten it all out.

A nice compromise between basic and pro lines
The extra screen space and pencil support are nice. This blends the line between Apple's iPad and iPad Pro lines, but for the price gave me all the features I wanted from the Pro without the price tag. Overall happy with the purchase.

Lightweight powerful marvel
What an upgrade from my old iPad 4! Easy one-handed use (with suitable lightweight cover) and fast fast fast! Got the LTE version this time so I can use GPS mapping while on travel, even if I rarely use the cellular data function.

Worth the upgrade
I had a first version iPad Air and glad I upgraded to this version. The larger screen is great, crisp and sharp. I can now run iOS 13 to get the latest features. The pencil is a nice tool which I have found many uses for.

I recently bought this (had an older ipad 3 before) and was very pleasantly surprised at how light and speedy it is. In fact, I thought my wifi was slow till I started watching movies on it. Very happy with my purchase.
