Does What It Should - Just Way Over Priced
Needed to replace my maintenance cartridge for my Canon Pro 4000 printer. While it is physically simple to replace and easy to order from B&H, it does its job, $90.00 is way too expensive considering how long it lasts ... and while the printer says it is full, upon visual inspection, it still looks new! Presently there is not a way to reset the chip. That said, the print quality of the 4000 is excellent!

Grotesquely overpriced
The cartridge is essential to the function of the machine but its over priced to the tune of 2x over what its worth. The Epson version of this is less than $40 and its resettable. The cartridge is also never really full when the machine says it is. Still, you have to have it in order to use the printer.

Expensive but you have to have it.
Way more expensive than the waste tank for the Pro 1000. Not sure why it's almost a hundred bucks instead of 15. I haven't filled one yet so I don't know if it's possible to drain the waste ink. Taking off one star for the price.

Expensive, and I ......
I used up the brand new Cartridge with just calibrating the new print head on my Pro-2000!! Took a lot of ink as well. Great gig for Canon's profits, but a hit in the butt for the user!

Works as advertised
Works great - B&H is one of the only places I've been able to find that keeps these in stock. Most stores don't so ordering can take a while.
