Apolling!
Its difficult to know where to begin when describing the short-falls with this device. Lets start with the feature which is likely to be the most reliable... USB transfer. You can connect a USB drive directly to the Apollo to transfer data. Great for large numbers of photographs or videos. Because youre connecting via USB, any network problems should not get in the way. I have never managed to transfer more than a handful of files. After man... Show More

A great NAS Server, but hardly intuitive
B&H was flawless ... but opening the package was where the fun ended. This unit has many beta-ish qualities, the least of which is the sparse documentation and un-narrated You-Tube videos which make up the bulk of online support. I Worked For One Year, that's it
Not wort getting. I lost all my data and most of it were client's data. For one year, April 2018- July 2019 it worked well. Until August 2019, it simply stopped working. The app, the device, everything. The Apollo Customer Service was ok in a solution. Here's the solution they proposed after all the trouble-shooting: Buy a new unit. Or they can replace it, after you send the old on in. Yeah - so for all the reasons stated, I don't recommend this product.

Needs a bit more documentation for setup
Seems to work well but NOT really easy to set up. All seems to go OK but then glitches and have to start again. Information is available online but not easy to use format so questions go unanswered. It would be better to have a manual included with the device which had a detailed index for specific questions. An online FAQ is too cumbersome.
