I bought this monopod along with a BE-117 Ball Head by Oben as an experiment. I like shooting both videos and photos of my grandson's sports and a monopod seemed to be a better option than a tripod. I'm using a Canon T5i with a 55-250mm lens. High Quality
I bought this to replace the original pan & tilt head on my Slid tripod. It's very easy to adjust the camera now with only one knob. I can also swap it between my tripod and monopod depending on my needs. The only downside is the Allen screw that connects the mounting plate to the camera. I would prefer something that doesn't need a tool.

Great tripod!
I purchased this tripod after 35 years of use from another. The carbon fiber construction makes it sturdy but light, perfect for taking along on my photo shoots! The ball head is so easy to use as compared to my old pan/tilt head and setup is very fast. The price was right and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Great for my monopod
Great product! I have used other similar ball heads and this one is one of the best performing, in my opinion. Its solid feel, adjustment abilities and levels make it superior to even more expensive products. Plus, it comes with an Arca- Swiss plate that can be attached to another camera body, meaning I do not have to pay extra for one!

Bought this tripod head fro my Sirui tripod. It solidly built and has some weight to it. The panning is very smooth and can be locked in with a screw below it. These ball head mounts seem not only well made but are also smartly designed. The locking system is easy and quick. The ball head locks steady and the ability to pan after the ball is locked is extremely convenient. The included 3/8 - 1/4 reducer bushing are also quite useful. Excellent build quality!
I would recommend this to anyone looking for precision shooting. It doesn't have some of the top tier features but what it does have is beautiful precision. I've had a couple of these and this is by far becoming my fav.

Strong and sturdy
When you tighten down it does not slip down any. I used it to shoot stars and was not disappointed at all in its performance. I would recommend it to anyone.

Oben Tripod legs AC-2341 3 section
First time it was used was on a night shoot and one of the lower tripod legs failed. Earlier the legs were examined and found to be satisfactory. Also, the legs do not slip out very easily to the extended position. Structurally, the legs are well made and packaging was excellent with a nice case. There are wrenches in the case to tighten the legs, which corrected the main problem.

The capacity of this head is greater that I currently need. I figured that purchasing this head is like a man purchasing a new pair of pants as he enters middle age. I'm using this on a small video tripod. It holds 8 to 10 lb. I've put on it, although I'll usually only put about 5 pounds on it. Being able to pan is very nice.

Simple Design
Bought this ball head to mount my DSLR onto my slider. I like the simplicity of its design; single lever that adjusts everything I need, lock it in place and I'm ready to shoot. It also has a quick-release feature that comes very handy. It has bubble levelers in every corner you might need it. It's mostly made of metal which I expect to last a long time. It is compact that makes it a breeze to install and fits easily in my bag. Everything is good about this product.

Precision Crafted
Everything I hoped for any more! was very surprised with how well made this ball head is, and I couldn't be happier! It truly is a precision piece of equipment and I trust my camera on it all day! The levels are great, and knobs are very sturdy. My only complaint is I wish there was a left/right version of the knobs.

Works Perfectly!
This was exactly what I wanted. Perfect height and great construction. She's a little heavy to hand carry all day, would be better on a backpack or over the shoulder, but shes very sturdy and with the center column hook that you can put your bag on, she won't go anywhere!

Outstanding
I bought this ball head after the headaches of using. Pan head for seascapes. I gotta say this ball head exceeded my expectations. It's well built and sturdy but stil light enough to lug around with my gear. The motions are smooth but still accurate with precision. First Ball Head

First Tripod
This is my first good tripod. I had to buy a new one because my old one could not hold a new lens that I had purchased. The legs are sturdy and can handle my new lens easily. I could not afford a carbon fiber one, so I purchased this one. I am using it while on vacation at the beach taking night pictures.

Happy Owner
The Oben CT 2331 is almost exactly what I needed. At 1.65 lbs it is light enough to backpack with and hold my Meopt S2 spotter. It's the only full height carbon fiber tripod I could find under two pounds now that slik and manfrotto have discontinued theirs. Fit and finish is great and if it weren't for the folded length and need for a tool to take the head off it would get five stars from me. I would recommend it and have to my friends.

Quality at an Affordable Price
I ordered this to replace a Manfrotto 496 RC2 ball head mainly because I didn't like the RC2 quick release and plate. Everything now seems to support the Arca-Swiss type mount, my Cotton Carrier hand grip included. Immediately I was impressed with the quality and operation on this ballhead.
